if you fellas didnt notice hes digging rock!, hes not going to sink, might be a bit of silty shit on top, if ur not sure on whats happening dont say any thing
@deonthesmith You´re right there pal, only bad thing operating in water is that the same thing, or water ,tends to get mixed with the finalcaseoil.or oilchange might be needed.
784plb is a douche bag. No, a fucktard. Hmm a fag. Well y'all get my point. That little baby 2500 doesn't weigh in anywhere near 500k I'm not even sure a 7500 shovel reaches that at full operating weight. We haul ex1000's stripped down that only net ballpark of 180k.
@windsofestrangement Maybe you should learn a bit of what you're preaching to people, instead of just running off at the mouth. The current version of the EX2500 you see here, has an operating weight of 548,700 pounds. There is also no such machine as a 7500 shovel. On top of that, if you are hauling EX1000s, then you're hauling very old machines, that weighed less than the current model that replaced them. If you strip one of those lighter machines down, it's going to weigh even less.
784plb... you have started alot of talk on here... i run an 1800. 180 tonne machine with.. if you look at my videos... a very large bucket the rated yardage is 15.5 yards the one on it is rated at 24. I have ran into soft soil. Most talented operators DO NOT get excavators stuck. And from what i seen in this small video i bet he felt the hard rock floor under him... a machine that size only slides on ice frozen ground or rock. You go down in mud.
Just to let you all know...This was working on a pit floor after the coal had been taken out. The floor is pure rock, hard enough a D11 can't rip it. This digger was never getting stuck!!
@harryscrotum007 do you know anything about heavy equipment, mining equipment lol. look how narrow the pads are, they are like that because anything bigger and they will bend like a banana. that makes the machine useless in soft soil condition because it will sink. who knows whats under that water. and as soon as it starts to sink it wont be able to pull its self out. its not like regulare hoes that can pull themselves out of mud. this cant do it.
@784plb but this? you need ocean water or something where its actually deep enough. sure this might get a ex200 stuck but the tracks on this bitch is 6 feet high
@harryscrotum007 lol i dont care how tall the tracks are. that makes no sense, obviously you have never been around equipment munch. that excavator has to weigh an easy 500,000 lbs, once in starts to sink in dirt or mud its done. i've seen a 793 haul truck get one wheel stuck in 2 feet of mud and took a 992 and d10 to pull it out. i dont think you comprehend how much these weigh and the suction effect you get after you start to sink, you just cant track out of it.
@harryscrotum007 yes, and we will eat sunshine for dinner, the dog will get the mail and me a beer from the fridge. and my cubans just finished the tunnel to my house to smuggle cigars... jet engines will work
most people see those little excavaors on the interstate construction sites and try to relate to those. those generally have maybe a 1.5cuyd bucket and a 40' reach. thats probably a 10 or 15yd bucket on that shovel by guessing. might even be bigger. once they get that big with out seeing the drivers seat theres nothing to compare it to everythings bigger
@784plb i work for a company that builds the coupler and attachments for most major oem's(ie komatsu, johndeere, case, volvo, dooson, kawasaki, etc...)
@784plb I dont think you have much idea of wat you are talking about either pal. A truck getting stuck is a total different setup than a digger getting stuck. A digger has a great big arm on the front of it, as you can see in the video, it can use this to lift, help push or pull the machine out, whereas a dozer or truck cant. Ive been bogged in excavators this size and bigger many times digging alluvial dirt but never needed assistance in getting out. do some research before mouthing off
@784plb AHHHhhh, whats he excavating there?Looks like rock/shale to me,which leads me to believe the area where his tracks are is littered with the stuff.Makes for a pretty good footing, cant imagine 500,000 lbs sinking through rock ;) .. Out with the pressure cleaner,to clean that baby :D
@784plb Ummmm, you do realise that the track pads on a machine of that size are totally different than the pads on a small machine, right? The pads on a 2500 are very strong castings....they will not "bend like a banana" as you suggest. They are not a standard flat plate type of pad, but a box section, or solid cast design depending on what type of pads are installed. The reason for narrow pads, is that most times, wide pads aren't needed, but are available as an option.
what he should have done is chase the barrel's on the prespit line on the highway, and follow them in to the bottom, easier to follow where is is cracked first
