I liked the part at the end. For beginning guitar players who just wna shred the shit out of their guitar, also understand that what makes a solo great is the chords underneath it. Li playing the solo alone would sound crap without the rhythm. Learning some theory about what progressions fit what might sound boring but trust me, all the greats up there do it.

Their guitars are soooo out of tune.. I don't like their tone either. And they play it live about 30% slower than in the studio, cause it was sped up. I mean, they're decent players.. But they just pretend they're better than everyone else, and they really aren't even close. That's why I don't like them.

it wasnt sped up. THey sucked live until they actually put headphones on when they played. They were actually awesome.

They DID play messier before, but that's because they couldn't really hear what they really did on the guitars. They had little-to-no way of hearing what really happened, and in that case, it's damned hard to do something about it. I read an interview with them pretty recently, that stated that they started to use in ear headphones as a way to overlook what they were playing, so that they knew 100 % what they were doing. Knowing What you're doing is a major key to success.

@Xaederaz I know what you mean! I have problems with my own stage preformances due to my lack of monitors.

You really want to stand in front of the main amp but then the sound will be all muddy and so on for the audiance and to stand behind or at the side of it is kind of...well bad for yourself :P

I use a extra amp as a monitor these days thought. I really need to buy a real monitor or wireless headphones... (sorry about my bad english)

I agree every performace I had watched of them on the internet before I attended their gig lead me to believe I was going to be in for an inaccurate performance. And not to my shagrin, it was the complete opposite. I was also fond of the extremely high energy level, and Powerglove was also exceptional.
