Add to the list: body parts. How could we know who got our extra kidney without it being tagged? If we got a heart bypass, how could we know anything about where those tissues came from if it weren't for tagging. The list is endless and the sooner we begin the tagging process, the safer we will be. Its like cameras on intersections. We need more of it and we need it NOW!
Ouch! I don't agree with ANYTHING Sterling. He should change his name to ROD Sterling,- Hello and weclome to the Twilight Zone. If anything can be proven, it's that the government doesn't need to be, anymore intrusive into our lives.
Sterling is out of touch here. The U.S. has already gone beyond all bounds that we used to think democracies "would never do". Like mercenaries, torture, invasions, dissappearing people... The pendulum needs to swing the other way and people need to be more aware and vigilant about their rights to privacy.

E-tagging is an interesting idea, but safe, effective implementation is simply not possible right now.
