  • It's so weird.....all these "theories" that pop out of the grapevine. Starvation mode is a myth, people. I'm not Pro-ed...in fact, i'd do anything to get rid of mine...but unless you've been in the disease, you just don't know what you're talking about. No disrespect to you, I like that you're reaching out and increasing awareness... but I'm sorry, no bulimic "thinks she's helping herself." 1:47

  • i realy like you alot without having the disorder you address and understand the pain that people with or had bulemia is feeling and whys its bad but many watch this and say "i cant be controlled the only thing left of me is too die" thats what i said too my mom at age 15 and im not a girl im a boy what alot of people dont understand and you is that men have it too but hide it better because its not viewed as a males disease.

  • I'm really glad you said you aren't a professional. The thing that baffles me is why the world seems to think that eating disorders have little to no relation to weight. Other than there is a HUGE (false) sense of control with eating disorders. We don't binge because we think we are fat...we binge because there is a bigger issue going on...then purge to deal with both the food and our problems. Many with eating disorders are victims of abuse and that is how it is manifesting itself.

  • You understand this so well. I know you probably won't read this, because you're a busy vlogger, but I don't think efforts like yours to reach out to people and share your views in such a positive way should go without thanks. So, thank you. You're an inspiration :)

  • Im a 21yr old male, moved away when i was 19 , Ive had bulimia since i was 17 I do it every time I go home My mam found out when i puked blood and panicked but she ignored it and told me to stop wasting money! Im still obese!!, cant stop it, my ex who i trusted bullied me to tell my doctor, waiting for councilling 20th sept, My advice is : guys its not just girls and there is a relief by forcing yourself to tell one other person! and the reaction is NOT as horrified as youll think it'll be

  • 0:03 - 0:07 haa :)

  • Thank you

  • thanks for the amazing video! it gives me strength and hope :)

  • your video saved my freinds life

    thank you

  • That's great that you want to help all the girls and women with this disease. A couple of comments about what you said though. Most people who are doing this do know it's wrong, but they don't know how to stop. And someone can be overweight and bulimic, it just depends on someone's body type. But if you are doing this he's right- get help, its hurting the people who love you too.

  • I really liked it. It was powerful. Hounest and caring look on the issue.

  • There are ways to tell if someones bulimic. They could have a red hand or scars on their hand. But some don't use their hands to throw up and some don't throw up at all. If you do starve yourself ( anorexic) your body will burn or 'eat' it's self until it gets to the organs and kill you. Also the second pic is photoshopped.

  • your a good drawer!!

  • dude

    i respect u

  • This is the reason why I subscribed to you, sir. He is very deep and what he says is meaningful.

    Respect from West Chester.

  • n/o but you dont look very smart.. BUT you surprised me! :]

    P.s

i think its fine if you limit yourself...... if it makes you happy then so be it. Its and addiction and a lifestyle choice... i would know.. i used to be ana

  • scary

  • psshhht

  • worse than drugs or alcohol... i agree : /

  • I really like listening to you and your opinions. You've got your own style and you speak whats on your mind. I got a lot of respect for those kind of people. I'm going to subscribe to you for sure.

    Lot of respect bro!

  • I wish there were a lot more people like you in the world. Great job on the video dude.

  • I like this guy, he really does care about different issues and its good that someone is willing to openly discuss topics like this as they are not talked about enough. Good job man

  • 90% of fat is instantly used to heat the bodys organs and to run the systems, the remaining 10% is typically used to top the latter up or is stored for later use. Imagine if 10% was used for heat, and 90% of it was stored... the world would be screwed. the body is an amazing system isn't it? it can use anything it needs to keep going, adapts to everything it comes across, an amazing adaptibility. The bodys muscles can actually double as a fuel without eating them, (see part 2)

  • when your muscles grow its typically from tearing of the cords and bla bla bla, and it rebuilds it stronger, but what happens to the damaged cells? they're disolved into energy and used to build the new muscles. Peace digi, cheers for the vid.

  • He mentions to notice if someone is really skinny, or doesn't look right, that they may have bulimia. I've been bulimic for a long time, I'm thin, but can it really cause you to lose THAT much weight, as much as anorexia?

  • Thanks for the video, weird hearing a guy address the issue... but good to know a male takes it seriously. I've been bulimic for 7yrs, recently tried to get help n didn't get any. U definitely opened my eyes to "closing that door" n look somewhere else. If they aren't willing SOMEONE will be, sad that I have to search for it though. One comment about "not feeling good enough" it's not other people who are hard on us, its ourselves. I've accomplished lots4 my age, just not satisfaction to me.

  • I am glad you made this. I am bulimic and have been for over 5 years. The only thing I would add is that at the end you mentioned that most bulimics dont know they have a problem... where most actually do. I mean its obvious that making yourself throw up isnt right.. they are just in denile abotu how bad it actually is.

  • There's a lot of truth in this, but I thought I should make a comment. You talk about bulimics as though they don't realise the damage their doing. Most of them do, but the disease starts slowly so by the time it reaches the point of being an illness, it's too late to just stop. You're right when you say it's an addiction. Most bulimics hate the disease already, they just can't stop.

Still, I hope this video helps people who are at risk of becoming bulimic or those who know someone.

  • Love this video!! Right on, digital!! Much love...xxx

  • So yeah...I was trying to purge right before I saw this video. I Could feel all the muscles in my stomach twitch and my throat and fingers were burning horribly. And then I watched and I was like "Wow. He's so right. I really should stop." I've been bulimic for like a month and was a lot happier before. Ive been lying to my friends. I just want to let you know that I really am going to stop before I get hooked. Amazing video. Thank you.

  • i felt you were talking right to me. you made me get the chills up my spine.

and your right about the relationships. bulimia seems to be my only friend now days. ive lost all my friends, and i dont even seem to care. my main focus is just getting my food out of my body.

and make a note that not all bulimics and anerexics are not underweight...cause thats not true. i am normal weight, and i have been bulimic for a year and 3 months.

MAKE ANOTHER VIDEO PLEASE ABOUT EATING DISORDERS !

  • I'm bulimic. And this video really touched me. Thanks for your enlightenment.

  • I know you mean well, but everything you say - how bulimia doesn't "help", how it screws up our teeth, how we end up losing muscle......we know. We known the statistics, we've seen the emaciated pictures, we KNOW.

"Just quit fighting it man, just be happy." Oh yeah. That's really going to work. I don't mean to sound like a bitch but that's really not enough for us.

  • burnburnbaby, please, give DS some credit. He did an awesome job on this video & on his research on bulimia. & while it may not "be enough" for us, if you read other comments from other bulimcs they appreciate it. Maybe you should too, since MOST men 1) dont WANT to understand this & 2)can be the reason a woman develops this. Digitil is a rare breed. He CARES. His wife is one blessed woman to have him in her life. Give him the credit for putting it out there. Rock on, DS! xoxox

  • Thank you, Dig. I'm a former bulimic and I'm going through a really hard time lately- it's very hard to stop myself. Thanks for this video.

  • in response to "x3ellamariex3"

if you have a eating disorder... you cat just pack up your " problem" and stop, if you truely had this disorder you couldent just stop. im a recovering bulimic. so i have a bit of knowledge on this subject. and in response to this video.. it isent just young ladies, its somthing you carry for the rest of your life, you can get better but it will always be with you. plus men are known to have eating disorders as well.

  • thank you. ill stop.

  • Im bulimic, and Your video was really eassy to relate to so thankyou.

  • Very well done, I am sure you are reaching many...continue working to help--you are beautiful and I love how you are working to help others see the beauty in their own self.

  • im not even bulimic, but for some reason i really fucking love you

  • you are amazing, I wish more people understood Bulimia. I finally trusted my very close guy friend enough to tell him I was bulimic and he just didnt understand he thought i could "just stop." If only he could have understood what I was going through, he just avoids me now and it makes me feel even worse about myself.

  • What people fail to understand about eating disorders is that they really are like a type of drug addiction...right down to a chemical high.

There are studies suggesting a euphoric high post-purging for bulimics and endorphins are released when one starves as well...in the beginning stages at least.

It has very little to do with vanity or ignorance regarding the harmful effects. Some studies point to a genetic component as well.

  • This is random but it's not always true that they don't understand the problem , actually that makes it soo much worse. You understand that it's bad and you should stop...but you can't. Anyway this was a really good video.

  • My friend is bulimic, she sent me the video link. Thank you for this video, it means alot

and i can see loads of people can relate to this.

I don't know what to do, last night something may have happened to her but I don't know.

    I can't smile right now.

Because I've been depressed because of what she's doing to herself.

    Not many people understand.

Thank you again for this video

    Your amazing =]

    xxx

  • Thank You For Understanding, Alot of people don't relize how terrrible it is... and that you can't stop right away

  • this is random but you remind me of vince vaghn... personality-wise

  • oh my god, you made me cry ... cause i'm bulimic and i wish there were more people like you ...

thank you even if you can't do anything for my, but it comforts me to know that people like you exist.

  • OMG we KNOW that we don't get thin or pretty by vomiting - its a panic avoiding-behavior that is like a panic attack! We "binge" on like maybe 2 sandwitches after not eating for maybe 24 hours and then purges because we enter panic mode - and WE KNOW the second its done that it can NEVER happen again yet it always does! Its our bodies that are damaged, there is no pain or lack of comfort like that of bulimia! I'm sorry but I just think that bulimia has been stereotyped in the media,

  • thanks for mentioning this. Unfortunately, even though I understand all this and more... the ultimate goal still seems a bit more important. even though this touched me, and many sufferers, I can't stop. I just wanted to say thank you for trying. on the subject of compassion, you've actually shown more care than my friends when they found out. I know that it's great; what your trying to do :](and im rather sorry for bothering you with a seemingly boring, and merely rubbish comment. :])

  • why cant more guys be like you?

  • thank you for realizing how hard it is and talking about this.

  • Thankyou!!!

Inspiration.....this is what we need not negativity and triggers. good job :] x

  • omg! i love you thankyou for being so understanding.

  • thank you... really; thank you.

  • omg i still struggle with that shit its been five years now i started since 11 still getting help

  • thank you for making videos to address these issues.you are making a differance and you are saving lives.

  • Digital Soul, I have to say that I really respect you and give you props for addressing an issue that is usually pointed at towards woman to explain. I think it's important to understand bulimia because it's not just the want to be thin and the want to fit into pretty clothes but it's a mental disorder that can really lead to one's detriment. Bulimia is horrid, I don't know how else to describe it. It's stolen my joy. And now, I must fight to get it back.

  • thanks so much for this vid, as a victim of bulimia i can say that your vid was rly encouraging, and it also helps hearing it from a guy too.. this issue is usually only discussed by women. Thank u for explaining the seriousness of this illness to everyone!

  • ur right i have had bulimia for 5 years, its hard to get over it though

  • This video made me cry, you have such a strong voice, even if its not your words, they hit me. I recognize myself in what you say so much.

  • ive done it, but i can NOT commit to doing it. makes me feel awful. its disgusting, you stick ur finger down, and snot, smell, the everything, is a bad bad situation

  • Right, so, older video, but I just found it (glad I looked on your page before pming you!) Thanks for this, honestly. I've been noticing my walking the thin line between becomeing anorexic and not. Obviously it's not something that people set out to do, it just kindof happens. I'm just glad there are videos like this, and that I was/am smart enough to see the signs before it got to late.

You rock, I'm gonna go grab lunch,

    NS

  • all I have to say is "spot on!!"

    Good job love.

  • everything you said was right on.

i became bulimic after a huge tragedy in my life - and use it as a coping mechanism.

    it sucks...

  • I think what you are doing is a very good thing. I am seventeen years old and have struggled with anorexia and bulimia since I was in fourth grade. I have lost 54 pounds and still think I am fat. I have been in and out of centers and i can't seem to get rid of the disease.

  • dont knock this guy at least he's trying to understand this disease...

i've been bulimic for 4 years and almost every guy i've ever met, when bulimia is brought up, goes, EW GROSS or something like that.

it's great that he understands just how intense the addiction is, most people dont get it this well at all.

  • I so know what ur saying!Bulimia grosses ppl out.I duno why its so annoying

  • I agree completely. I was overweight most of my life, due my mother being lazy, we ate fast food all the time. I started binging/purging when I was 15. I'm 23 now. I want to be okay with my body, BADLY, but he's right. Bulimia IS an addiction. You constantly think about what you're going to eat, how much of what, and if you're going to be able to throw it up without someone noticing.

  • I think the video in general is really informative and good, but I have to say in some cases a person with an eating disorder will know what they are doing is wrong, they just won't care.

  • You are so right! Thank you

  • Why don't you talk about anorexia in your next addressing the issue post. btw nice video! xoxoxo byezzz

  • dude,yoo are so kewl

  • I've suffered from bulimia for 10 years. I'm 24...and I've looked for help from many different therapists for a long time. I'm finally getting the help I've needed. My body is starting to fail me and I was so ready to just give up, but now I feel like I might have hope...you really can't give up...for the first time I see a light at the end of the tunnel.

  • that was really good, i have been on you tube for a while and have become obsessed with anorexia and bulimia videos, it has encouraged me to become bulimic, i tried to purge but it didn't work, i tried starving myself but i didn't work, i know what ur thinking, that my body is telling me not to, i try to convince myself every day to stop trying but i can't, i am not underweight i am normal but i wish to be. Thnx

  • i have had bulimia for almost a year and its like a high for me lyke a heroine getting high from their drug

  • Do you seriously think that those of us with an eating disorder don't already know this stuff? It has nothing to do with food and/or weight. It's not as easy as "Oh, you're right. I'm totally going to stop throwing up or starving myself." It's not as easy to find help as it seems. Most doctors don't consider you to have a problem unless you are extremely underweight. Just because someone is not underweight does NOT mean they don't have a problem. They can be average weight and even overweight.

  • u r right i was anorexic for 4 years and when i went to a doctor who convinced me that i had a problem and i have to stop i gained wait wich made me scared and nervouse thats how i got my bolimiaa now for the third year sometimes i am veryfine but suddenly things start to collapse but that guy is like maybe comforting ppl to an extent

  • Not everyone with an eating disorder knows this stuff, just because you do doesn't mean that everyone else does. He's just letting people know the facts, and we all know its not easy to stop.

  • Thank you for this video. It was great! (I hate Comic Sans though :P)

  • i wish i could stop but im addicted. i dont have bulimia...bulimia has me. whenever i eat my body naturally wants to throw it up

  • i didnt eat yesterday, i havent eatten to day, im not gonna eat tomorrow

  • Look...It was very good that you talked about it...I just wanted to say that if you are bulimic...they don't see what you see in the mirror I think They need help and maybe you helped somebody by talking about it so thanks

  • well spoken!

  • 99% of Bullimic people are women.

Guys have too much ego to even care about being skinny.

  • please shut the fuck up... it's obvious that you have no idea what your're talking about.

  • Dear Sc,

I agree with you, I was overwhelmed by listening to his shpeil.

I hope he doesn't see this note, I don't want him to think that anyone disagrees with him, -imagine Sc, if he knew where one lived.

    Cheers.

    from

    del.

  • Thats beautiful man..such honesty, care and sincerity.

  • (Clapping hands) I absolutely love the ideal of you talking about bulimia while targeting it almost completely tours women, I mean forget about the men who are suffering from this disease, after all, only we woman need to feel better on the inside so it'll reflect on the outside right! GIRLS come on you know I'm talking to YOU -_-

  • Thank you for speaking up and out about this issue, IT good to hear from the oppsite sex.Girl listen to guy more often then another girl sooo thank you

  • Thank you so much for talking so honestly and intelligently about this.

  • thank you sooo much for doing this video!! it was right on target and tastefully done!

  • this video was brilliant and right on target!! thank you soooo much for doing this! it was very informative and tastefully done!

  • At the beggining of this video I was really sceptical. I thought you were going to come on rating and raving saying all sorts of inncorrect things, but you seem like a compassionate guy who gives a damn. It was nice of you to make this video.

  • I am a 28yr vetran of this disorder. Started at 12 still going in and out at 40!!! All you ppl out there do not even start b/c you MAY NOT EVER STOP!!!! The food is a addiction the barffing is the so called releife. BTW I learned about this disorder from an AFTER SCHOOL SPECAIL. Oops!!!Quess they should not have giving ALL the girls in my class the Holy Grail to weight control!!!!

  • Just saw this now...

God i hope some people heard what you said.

Very well worded video brotha, I have newfound respect for you for doing this...

  • this really helped me! thank you im trying to get over it right now. so far the one person who was trying to help me gave up on me so its hard but thank you

  • Wow you're good!Awesome video.I am bulimic and this video was very helpful

  • awesome video, your personality is really unique. Thanks for doing the research with a heart

  • You are very motivational and inspiring.. this was a really good video. :)

  • What bulimic people don't understand is that they aren't making themselves beautiful, but they are making themselves ugly. They know it is bad for them, but insist on continuing to kill themselves because they have this incorrect impression on beauty that it is pretty to be as thin as possible. In reality, people prefer normal sized women to extremely skinny ones. you see, if you choose to become bulimic, you aren't even achieving the cause you want to.

  • we do realise it's bad for us, but some of us dont care or dont think we'll die IMEDIETLY so we dont care. even its just a few years down the road. we realise it's damaging us, but like you said its an adiction. it's also a coping mechanism.

  • i didnt use to really belive that, but then i realised that it's true. sometimes im not even hungry not even a little but but i want to binge/purge just to get that feeling of getting rid of it. we're not ignorant of the issue. we just do it anyway. and, btw, the images at the end, i know some of them are photoshopped, and some

  • your very smart. But you should also know it happens to guys to. I know.

  • Your words are so helpful! Wow... thanks for speaking the truth!!

  • to you, not with you. to you.

  • Hey there, I think it's pretty good that you made this video. It's unlike anything I've watched (in a good way).

    You're cute.

Also, if you feel like asking anything about living with an eating disorder, I'm pretty qualified in that area and would happily donate some of screwed-up knowledge with you.

    Peace

    x

  • You've made another wonderful video, DiGiTiLsOuL. I applaud your video making skills!

  • hey i just wanted to say thanks for posting this video... i'm suffering from this right now and it really sucks...yeah hard to talk about but yeah thanks <333 jacki

  • thsnks for posting that video i am suffering with bulimia as well as cutting and a few other things and i was sexually abused and that parshily why i started cutting and my bulimia and thank for making this video

  • <333 This acctually made me cry. I used to have bulimia. Thanks man. And as for like "abuse" as a kid.. I have abandonment issues from when I was a child, which brought on alot of my issue. And, yeah, bulimia is like a big constant thing... its something you can control. Its not good.

    Thanks

    -Byn

  • this was an amazing video...hit close to home..i appricate how sincere you are about the subject.

  • your voice reminds me of vin diesel's.

  • so glad to hear more people adressing this issue. great blog keep up the work your about as good as my therapist.

  • Excellent video. Truthfully i thought the pictures at the end were kinda triggering but still, a great vid. And if you dont know much about it, you still did a great job. Thanks for upload. xx

  • dont stop doing this digitilsoul. you have no idea how much you help. thank god there is people like you in this world.

  • That's just sad...

  • Hey! =] I just got to this video.. You did good on this subject. I've been coe/bulimic for close to 15 years on and off. I've been in 2 different in patient treatment centers and have had a lot of stomach problems from the constant purging. It is a terrible addiction/disease. I would just add to your video comments that finding a good reliable 12 step program to help with the issues. Great job hun! Keep up the good work! Hugs, Jennifer

  • <<<well said man!! bulimia/anorexia its a demon.ppl with those dieseses like to be left alone with there diesese. that is why you need to step in and do something about it, because they wont. peace love and happiness, leah

  • Man this is so terrible (the diseise not the vid) I think one of my friends might be anorexic becuase she has a nice figure but she keeps saying she's fat!

  • Dude, im only 15 but the messages your getting across is amazing, I totally applaud you. Respect! Keep this up man, it may not seem like much, but im sure your helping so many people, ive had alot of crap in my life so I know what its like, even tho im young, im not a moron and I know about stuff, keep this up dude. Honestly, respect.

  • Its really funny you picked this topic to talk about becuase i learned alot about Bulimia in class at school but i learned alot more watching your video! And i have a test on it tomorrow and i think i'll do very well on it now! Thanks so much! And your right it is very serious eating disorter and i'm glad your making good messages in your videos because its nice to watch some funny things on youtube but some serious stuff on youtube is always good! You rock!!!

  • Great video. I really enjoy your compassion with all kinds of people. I don't have an issue that you mention in any of your videos, but I'll certainly try to help anyone with a problem.

  • :( those pictures at the end were so gross it scares me to think about what they are putting theselfs through. i love how you are so compasionate about this stuff. your kidd is so lucky to have a father like you. :)

  • You seem to get your point across without profanity. That is what I enjoy about your stuff. Keep it up.

  • My roommate recently told me she was bulimic. She was hosptialized for anorexia back in highschool, but recovered. Now she's dealing with this. Every night she sits in her room and gorges on food and then ends up in the bathroom. I'm working on helping her find a solution, because she's probably the most beautiful person I have ever met and she thinks she needs to be something so superfical.

    Great video.

  • I have a friend that suffered from anorexia.. She's been on and of it a long time.. 3 years I guess.. It broke me down inside when I saw her as thin as she was, only skin and bone.. It's so sad with people having to fight things like this.. :(

  • Well, im over weight and I was wondering if you could possibly post something on how you lost weight and how we could. Im not bulimic but I know people who were and I hope for the best for those of you suffering from it

  • Oh barf that's sad. Keep up the good work.

  • I have battled with bulimia and obesity for most of my life. My weight has been as high as 147kgs and I have been hospitalised for Malnutrition. I still battle with obesity but i have pretty much conquered bulimia, as much as one can anyway. It's like being an alcoholic, it's always there. I just watched your A Cry for Help blog as well and would like to thank you for addressing these issues as sensitively as you did. It may seem strange but it's good to hear coming from a guy.

  • I agree with jmw2147 on your note. In fact...

I think that you are a wonderful person. Your compassion really touches me in every video I've seen and I love the fact that you are willing to stand up and speak about issues, even if it means doing a little research yourself so that you can say something worthwhile.

    Thanks a bunch, DiGiTiLsOuL

  • I have a friend who I just found out this school year that is bulimic. She was alright for a while but recently started up again... thanks so much for posting this video, I can tell that plenty of people watch and listen to your videos and what you have to say.

  • i think that you are a wonderful person. your compassion really touches me in every video i've seen and i love the fact that you are willing to stand up and speak about issues even if it means doing a little research yourself so that you can say something worthwhile. keep it up.

  • I also wanted to say that I think it's fantastic u r addressing this. Bulimia is an issue often forgotten, outshadowed by anorexia & society is lacking education in the illness. Bulimia is actually more dangerous than anorexia as the signs are often unnoticed & constant purging can lead 2 serious heart problems as well as lethal digestive problems. People are NOT aware of this. Pictures such as those u showed r often called "Thinspiration" by ED sufferers... actually ill post a video response!:)

  • Bulimic sufferers aren't always thin, they are often "normal" or overweight & that is why often u cannot tell if u don't know other signs. This happens because often when they purge they aren't getting rid of everything which in relation to what they ate before purging means they actually consumed a fair amount of food... Sometimes they also fail at purging and attempt to exercise to burn the calories but again this usually doesn't do the "complete job"... but GREAT video :)

  • yo, im on msn while watchin this and, i sent it 2 all my grls

they really appreciate it thanks man

  • lol triple "pshh"

  • Wow.

    I suffer from this disorder.

And what you had to say made me actually feel like, "you know what, I can get help, I can get better, I can put an end to this".

It was also nice hearing all of it coming from a guy.

    Thanks.

  • You are awsome. You help people, your sensitive, your hansome, you go dude.

  • so true just go to the gym and eat healty. that it.

  • Not really as simple as that when your mind is in a "diseased" state just as an alcoholic's mind... telling them not to do it practically makes them do it more... And I guarentee you the majority of them ARE going to the gym... way... too... much...

  • psssssst!

  • Thank you DS--you are helping alot of people with your vids

  • whigga lol

  • nope this subject dosnt effect my fat but but im watchin

this man is an incredible human being click his videos you will find something this guy says to help you!!!! peace brother keep up the good work

  • good vid man! Amen

  • this was a very good video. Very deep, and to the point. I love how you say everyone is beautiful, and that we're here for a reason -- because it's true.

  • Thank you for the "Pshh" three time I love it

  • One more time, one more time, one more time, go! Nice video.

  • thats true i know my sister goes crazy about her weight but i know shes not bulimic

  • luv ya DiGiTaLsOuL.

    great vid

  • Thank you for that, a lot of people come to me with diffrent problems and this is something i didn't know much about at all. Now i understand it a little better an d know the signs i can help them.

  • Another good topic.

  • Good topic...well not a good topic but a definite need for people to know about this both bulimic and non-bulimic people. As a former ballet dancer, I've been around a lot of people who have had this or anorexic disorders and it's really sad. Especially because people try to deny/hide/or won't listen about having it.

  • I love love love the way you think and the things you say :) always great. Sometimes I envy the will power of bulimics and anorexics because I'm more or less the opposite of one of them. But its a sad disease and I hope everyone can get the help they need. Thanks for your thoughts DS

  • It's not willpower, it's just the result of a sickness that they can't control.

    Great video, as always.

  • I saw my best friend of 12 years battle anorexia, and it was one of the hardest times in my own life. You're right tho, just give them your support, and help them to get better. I'll never forget the day I hugged her after not seeing her for a few months, during the worst of it. I cried right there in her hallway...

  • my best friend is beliemic and my sister and my other friends told me to leave her

    but i cant do that

your right she needs my help

and no one is helping her so i might as well do it

  • lmao

this video is making me hungry (im not belimic)

    you have an amazing video

    good luck to future videos

  • if you get featured, you're going to be the new youtube celebrity. Hope you get featured soon man. ...but if that happens, dont get bigheaded! :)

...oh, and nice video as always! :)

  • I like this idea of a weekly series. It will be exciting to see what you will address next. We all need to start being more aware.

  • Over the top, DS. You have my utmost respect and appreciation for your video made with compassion. I wish You Tube would have an award for videos similar to the Oscar for movies or Tony for stage acting. You would most definitely have my vote for best vid. Well done, my friend.

  • this was wonderfully addressed. I know why I am here :) I think you are a great inspiration to all!!!

  • Anyone who got to read "wasting your time" probably did not have their time wasted. Good Video man, Talking about issues.
