@1775novten Police don't run with their lights on in various different scenarios. For example, a cop is not going to turn his lights and siren on if there is a home invasion at night. Whoever is potentially in the house has eyes and ears too and them knowing that the police are on the way will change the scenario dramatically. But if my house was getting broken into, I would want the police to get there in a timely manner wouldn't you?
