I really loved the grungy, messy look she often had during the early phase of her pop career (2009 and january 2010), like in this pic right here. She reminded me a bit of male rockers/metalheads and had the attitude to match this look. But since she's a woman and not a male rocker/metalhead, everybody was getting their panties in a twist cause of this look, so she cleaned it up a little bit for the public. Fucking double standards in society.

Luckily, she didn't change as a person though.
