Most illegals work in construction, factories, restaurants, housekeeping, stores, etc, which have been entry level up to blue collar jobs - our jobs. And they are not self-supporting either. As I stated, we ARE doing other things, but there's only so much ordinary citizens can do while working and raising families. Well, you got it mostly right.We fully understand & agree with what you say. And we, as mostly Tea Party citizens are moving in the direction of changing the corrupt people in govt. We can't do everything. We're just working class people & have lives of our own. But we can protest "May Day" in a sanctuary city (SF) to call public attention to this problem & how it needs to be addressed. We weren't fighting-just protesting. BTW, every employed illegal = an unemployed citizen.

How about the families stay in their own country where they are citizens. That way there's no chance of families becoming separated and they don't have to lie. Besides, they have no right being here. They could implement their own dream act with their own government. They'd still be nice hard working people, and if they came from south of the US border, they could speak spanish. What a great solution! They stay put and fix their own damn country instead of stealing from us.

Im very sorry for you but the reality is that the U.S. will pass the dream act, I hope it does, it will create a lot of opportunities for people living in the United States, it is beneficial to the U.S. economy and better for business. There's a BIG difference between educated self supporting LEGAL immigrants who love America, and tax dollar sucking ILLEGALS who couldn't care less about America. Don't count on your liberal buddies in the government to help you either - we're on to them. We took the house in November 2010. And what about your guy in the White House? He's broken just about every promise he was elected on, including "comprehensive immigration reform". We'll see who ends up speaking whose language.

@jpescool Couldn't the families remain together if the parents being deported took their anchor babies with them? There isn't a law preventing the kids from going to the mother's or father's home country. And to say that they don't break our laws is nonsense. Any illegal alien driving a vehicle in CA is violating our laws, as is an illegal who works for pay. What you're claiming is nonsense. Not breaking our laws? Have you taken a peek at Title 8 of the U.S. Code?

People complain about jobs but then dont want to do the jobs cause its benneith them so what is the point then? Agricultural workers make up a very small percentage of illegal workers - something like 3%. Most illegals work in construction, factories, restaurants, housekeeping, stores, etc, which have been entry level up to blue collar jobs - our jobs. And they are not self-supporting either. Taxpayers must make up the balance of the wages that employers cheat them out of. And BTW - you sound like a racist.
