@SelfAware1 fascism is an economic system, in which private ownership is supposedly allowed, but all property is really utilized at the pleasure of the state. It is an economic system which can exist under various political systems, democracy, republic, monarchy, oligarchy, etc. A dictatorship is a political system which basically excludes any democracy or elections.

The Bush tax cuts for the Rich amount to $700 billion dollars over a TEN YEAR PERIOD. In other words it's 70 billion per year. The Federal Govt. borrows $4 billion PER DAY right now. Repealing all the tax cuts for everyone would still leave us in a massive budget deficit. The only way to address the deficit is to cut entitlements like SS, Medicare, Medicaid. Those 3 programs eat up ALL the revenue right now and that isn't sustainable now is it?

The only way 2 cut the deficit is to cut MILITARY SPENDING: ~ 4.5% of GDP (which is over 2x the ratio of every other nation) & 7.6 x the real value spending of the next highest spender, China. Returning to Reagan or pre-Reagan tax levels & instituting a single-payer Health System would also go a long way to cutting the deficit: we spend vastly more per cap. on HC, have worse care & cover far less % of our pop. than every other developed nation bc our HC is STILL run by big $.

@helpendthefed According to man who created Reaganomics, Paul Craig Roberts, Social Security has in the past and will in the future run many Trillions of Dollars in SURPLUS. How is SS and Medicare "entitlements"? Everyone PAYS. Govt took FICA revenue in, but instead of investing in GROWTH, they spent it on ANTI-growth giveaways to the Rich, and Wars. Now the Rich don't want to pay it back. (the Fed created $16 T for Wall St but can't create a $1 T loan for retirees in 10-20 years??)

Yes, the Govt is in bed with Big Banks and Corps/Military/Medical industrial complex. That's CORPORATISM. You want the "Rich" to pay their "Fair Share", However, most "Rich" are NOT in bed with the Govt and haven't benefited from all this fraud and theft from US going on between the Fed Govt & Thieves.
