If this movie had been another 20-30 minutes longer like the first 2, I think it would have had a chance to win Best Picture just like the original. The story about getting fame, becoming complacent, getting humiliated, and then getting back on your feet and earning your dignity back the tough way is VERY appealing. But they packed it all into about 90 minutes. I wonder if Sly wishes he would have added a little more.

This movie is pretty stupid. I only like the ending where he beats the shit out of some shit talking, tree swing, jungle ape. Which seems to happen an awful lot in boxing these days. From middleweight to heavyweight most champions are white and in MMA (well do I even need to say it). Other than that this movie is boring and point less.
