I do agree that the comparisons, at least in the ways that they're made, are stupid. They're two vastly different players playing two very different positions. They're both fun to watch. Unless you're a dogmatic Pens or Caps fan, denying yourself the ability to appreciate both of these guys play means (IMO) you're a crappy fan of the game of hockey, more interested in ancillary crap than 'X' s and 'O' s.

its because the frames per second of the TV and the camera dont match up. no matter how awesome the TV is, it would have that effect unless the two were timed perfectly, which is a 1 in a million chance.

Crosby ISN'T better...Crosby's TEAM is better than the Caps...if Crosby was better he'd be nominated for the MVP more than Ovechkin...in four seasons Ovechkin has 2 Hart and 3 Pearson nominees...Crosby only one each. Ovechkin has also had more goals and points than Crosby since coming into the league.

In 2/3 seasons in which Crosby and Ovechkin were healthy for the entire season...Ovechkin had more points than Crosby...that's the rookie and current season. So...Crosby only beat Ovie in points in 1/4 seasons. No big deal considering all the talent he had surrounding him that year.
