  • The Kenny Everett video cassette ....

  • Always wanted to marry a girl like the girls on hot gossip!, but i was already married DAM,hahaha

  • @7:51

    Was looking for this!

    Classic!!!! :-)

  • American accent? you obviously havent watched his general norm piss take.

  • I wonder what Kenny and other people with english accents would sound like with an american accent.

  • I loved Hot Gossip and Kenny Everett Video Show was fantastic! We used to make a point of watching it or 'taping it' xx

  • I loved Hot Gossip and Kenny Everett Video Show was fantastic! xx

  • Kenny Everett died of AIDs.

  • And then I met a really good show

  • Pure gold!

  • Thumbs up if michael mcintyre's autobiography brought you here!

  • Great humour, sadly missed.....Kenny was always a favourite with the film crews & technicians, most of whom couldn't stop laughing out loud whilst actually filming the show...

    Brian Scott

  • @Brian391000 Kenny was a legend!

  • I'm 12 and I'm really taking a liking to this! It's better than most the crap on TV now. :D

  • @Innesisocoollike same, im 12 aswell

  • love kenny he was a genius !

  • Bring back TV like this - not the politically correct crap we have today.

  • 4:00 Oh wow.... O-O that guy is deadly handsome.

  • 1:51 With the stocking on, he looks like Jim Broadbent!

  • god dammit i was in love with the short-haired blonde hot gossip girl when i was a young fella... & i still am

  • There has never been anything to replace Hot Gossip.

  • Woooow, I kinda remember this show from back in the day.

  • Hot Gossip are wanktastic

  • RIP Maurice, You were a Star!

  • Hot Gossip would be called porn today, sexist and - well everything they would have been in the 1950s. KE wasn't 'out' though. He never made a big deal of acting out gay stereotypes like Julian Clery or Graham Norton. He made it feel that any man could behave like him - and so what? Doesn't mean 'no women' or 'no men' either. Now it's back to one ghetto or the other.

  • Pissing meself laughing, he was so funny.

  • this just made my day

  • you can`t beat kenny and hot gossip, great show sadly missed.

  • They don´t make ém like they used to... ,RIP Kenny, top funnyman

  • Thumbs up if Hot Gossip almost ruined your teenage eyesight.

  • Unlike todays BBC's shitty hopefuls, this was a genuine talented comedian. Fucking shame ,he let Freddie Mercury in the backdoor. He could've been here today still; to give todays BBC's gays ,hooligan managers and cooks with eating disorders,a right good kick up the ass.

  • Ant and fuckin dec..homo's

  • @LionheartNh and what was kenny everett! the police skit at the end should give you a clue. Judy Garland... friend of dorothy.. He was one of the first totally out performers on British tv

  • michael mcintyres dad produced this and kenny everett was gay

  • and Hot Gossip really helped the chair industry.

  • wonder how hot gossip would have got on with simon cowell ?

  • @millbrook79 Very well. He produced their last two singles 'Don't Beat Around The Bush' and @Break Me Into Little Pieces' in 1984 when they were signed to Fanfare Records

  • kenny took us to a world of his own and it was funny as fuck

  • "If you think that was funny, you're under arrest!"

  • "hello, has the word mugger slipped into your vocabulary lately? *walks off*"

    lmfao! classic!

  • I'm sure that Everett fellow was gay you know...

  • @gan9e he was :L

  • This show was awesome back then. <3

  • good days of comedy

  • they just don't make commedy like this anymore

  • So Gay ...

and that is what was so great about Kenny his one gag was to be OTT completely over the top?

Even though now it seems a bit tame ,in its time it was ground breaking and thus worthy.

    .Probably an unkind fate?

  • Very talented and funny man. Best Radio DJ ever. Translated to video well. Thanks for reminding me how good he was

  • Which one is Sarah Brightman?? In Hot Gossip I mean...

  • @nickthelick I don't think she was actually in the group dancing on the show. She choreographed but didn't perform and only appeared in the video of Starship Trouper.

  • @firstpresence She's there, but not much. She first appears at about 5.22 (back left). She's visible briefly sitting on the left from 6.14 to 6.17. And that's about it.

  • Why isn't there more Kenny Everett on DVD? Think of all that material going to waste

  • what year was this on in the US? I remenber this as akid. 83 or 84?

  • Wonderful!

  • Had to go for a wank at 4:52. Damn, missed the next 2 minutes.

  • @Johnzoil stupid twat

  • sensational!

  • This is the first time I've seen Kenny since I was a kid. This used to go to air in Australia in the afternoons during kids hour (What was the ABC thinking? That would not happen now). Everyone's so paranoid about kids' minds being warped - "what if my child doesn't turn out normal" crap crap crap. I nearly cried when he died in about 1994. There was / is no one better.

  • How can someone complain that TV used to be better on a YOUTUBE video. I mean, is there no sense of self-awareness at all?

  • Where u goin? Southall

    Where u been? Vauxhall

What u got in the bag? Nothing! lol (fuck all)

  • @braywolf169 you just ruined it with a very unecessary explanation

  • He's so funny he makes me leak at both ends!!!!!

  • big hands

  • great person & great show .... nothing like this is around these days bring them all back ........

  • ahh the 80s. I miss Ken's manic humour

  • I used to watch this program when I was a10 year old boy. I couldn't wait for the boring Hot-Gossip dancing bits to be over so I could get back to the comedy! : )

  • fulcrum (3.11), such a great piss take on those art programmes like the south bank show. the guy was a genius, no question about it

  • holy shit! I've just realised what we've lost... christ, this is much better than the junk we get today!

  • why the hell is this series not on a tc box set compared to the crap that's available at the moment??? id buy it. we watched kenny everet as kids , ive got the naughty bits dvd but that seems to be the only one available??

  • Ah, Ken, you are much missed!

  • And now, before you can say: tamutta-wakatani-hanikuwayuwu-tamatiyatula-pikarkapikkimongo-orinoko-pokawina-wakatanatahu-matakua-tananuru-kowamickeytoro :-)

  • @aaaaspiffy You're just showing off!!!

  • KENNY MADE TV PROBABLY FUNNIER THAN IT HAS EVER BEEN.....JUST HILARIOUS.

  • Hot Gossip: offering viable employment opportunities for lesbians and unfashionable gay men since 1974! :D

  • oh god- hes amazing!!!! <3

  • One of my heroes!

  • ahh good ole kenny..

  • Hot gossip is basically the music videos we see everyday.

  • ah yes ... but THEN this was all new. This was in a time where comedy shows meant Terry and June and raunchy meant Felicity Kendal in tight dungarees. He MADE the new wave of comedy and music.

  • Sarah Brightman's Hot Gossip, wonder if she admits to it now?

Love them, an X rated Pans People !!

  • @oztopgun When I was a kid, my dad used to refer to them as "Porns People".

  • "Somewhere over the Rainbow" - brilliant. Only the irreplacable Kenny Everett could have thought of that. Still missed to this day.

  • Your so right ! So random and works so well!

  • was there sketch on the Kenny Everrette Video Show whereKate Bush morphed into Wonder Woman

  • Comment removed

  • This NEEDS to be released on DVD. I know there's the "Naughty Bits" DVD which has the "best bits", as it were, but I mean all the series should be released!

  • Hot Gossip - Practically Playboy on a Music video. And this was pretty much every week on his show. Brilliant. Kenny also had a really good radio show on London's Capital Gold, after he'd left Radio 1. He will be missed for sure...

  • Always seemed to look to me that they'd just come out of a fetish club. I do remember them getting a lot of stick for one routine where they wore SS uniforms.

  • The Legendary Hot Gossip! 3:50 to 6:58

    Thanks for this.

  • Talk about throw back

  • I love the one when he takes the camera and shows outside the tele set, i laughed so much lol

  • sadly this is whats missing in todays comedy.A sense of the totally ridiculous!

  • Your 28 and from indonesia? Watch something your own age and shut up.

  • you wil be the 1st up against the wall come the revolution!!!!!!!!!!!!!! bang!!!!

  • I seem to recall there being some kind of crime being committed later on in this show and police sirens being heard and the police breaking into the room singing "behind me". Brilliant Stuff.

  • C'mon! The male dancers are as gay as fucking Gomer Pyle! ha ha.

  • What a really good show this was. I would never miss it. Yes Ant & Dec couldn't hold a candle to this.

  • @airscrew1 They wouldn't need to- Ant and Dec are not comedians and never claim to be. Their shows are in a completely different genre.

  • The best series were when the camera crew and the gallery were all laughing. Priceless!!!!!

  • I love Repel a Thug XD

  • it doesnt get any better then this , and what do we get today ???ant and dec , sod that ! cunt and dick more like !

  • @BREN70S too f@@@ right, class act.he was 1978-85

  • how did we not know he was gay? lmao! RIP kenny, bless him, still making us laugh!

  • 0.52 to 1:10 cracks me up!

  • do you have the episode with Freddie Mercury in it?

  • "Those male dancers are lucky swines, to be cavorting and dancing with those babes on a regular basis. "

I don't think they cared too much lol - Hey FLOYD If you see this Contact me ;)

  • trouble is if you get a chubby while dancing theres very little chance of hiding it in them outfits!!!lol.

  • Hot Gossip at 3:55 mmm lovely.

Those male dancers are lucky swines, to be cavorting and dancing with those babes on a regular basis.

  • hot gossip are still flaming

  • i used to love the boobs

  • This used to be on at about 7 in the evening. There is no way they would get away with this now. Mini pops would have been on about the same time & that was equally near the knuckle

  • They're not 'getting away' with anything. Its called entertainment in a world not strangling in pseudo-victorian sexual repression. i.e. circa 1960 to 1990.

There's nothing here that I wouldn't show my kids or my grandma. And, yes. This is your chance to make some fun, ad hominem, jokes about me. It doesn't make me wrong tho.

  • i was suprised by the chequered flooring at the end of the hot gossip scene

  • yeah your right zoreb! and hey check this out - at the start of the fulcrum sketch hes doing the diablo hand sign! hmmmmmm

  • The Judy Garland Police Appreciation Club was the funniest bit on here... the rest is charming if a bit hokey... I really liked this show as a kid.

  • Holy frickin crap! Thanx for posting, never thought I'd see this again...

  • Fulcrum: Is this his take on Alan Bennett? Or is it a type which Alan perfected?

  • 6:10 ;-)

  • Maurice Cole (or as he's better known Kenny Everett). As mad as a fish on a bicycle. But we loved him all the more for it

  • Even midget jokes? Ah, come back Kenny...I miss you :(

  • I so miss Cuddley Ken!

  • Chaka Khan and Ashford & Simpson

  • Thank God for YouTube ~ or I probably would have never seen this again. Very Spike Milligan, very clever stuff. It was very influential on the 8 year old boy I was at the time, although I found the Hot Gossip bits a bit boring back then. Meanwhile, oddly, my stepdad seemed glued to the TV...

  • Yeah lol, me and my brother used to hate it when HG came on. Girls spoiling the fun. But a couple of years later I started to grow up and fancy the little blonde.

Thanks for posting these. The dancing is so horny.

  • English comedy at its best. Thanks and it's all don in the best possible taste.

  • My goodness. The 80's were really so good. Political correctness had not arrived. Comedy was rough and real. Fantastic

  • i remeber wathing this show when i was a kid

  • Nice vid mate

  • What is the music during the Hot Gossip section - a clue, anyone?

  • Quincy Jones 'Stuff like that'

  • Thanks!

  • @ribogok Haven't a clue... sounds like it could have been specially made. You could always try Shazamming it, in case you haven't tried? Dial 2580 on your mobile and point it at your speaker.

  • I love the way he sang those tight multi-tracked barber shop harmonies - very talented.

  • Love it!!! Best ever..Kenny was so funny..

And his Radio shows were unbelievable..

    Easy funny happy...genius.

    Where are we now???

  • 6:10

  • ha ha. He was so good.

  • This man was awesomely funny and way ahead of the times on tv and radio. Sadly missed

  • And they kicked Benny Hill off the airwaves! Hot Gossip was soft porn, just what a 16 year old (as I was) needed on telly. KE was just so great. Good post!

  • Hot Gossip! That takes me back. And makes me think of the Smith & Jones parody: 'Blatant Pornography & the Nancy Boys'.

  • It's difficult to imagine when seeing the rather staightlaced Arlene Philips on TV that she was the Hot Gossip choreographer behind all zose naaauuughty roooutines! ;-)

  • he was a genius, "5*" Thanks for the uploads.

  • thanks annedoverfist for all the Kenny uploads. i enjoyed every second of everyone of them. :O)

  • awesome at the end!

  • Kenny Is just..true genius a poet in the world of comedy =]

    L x

  • Brilliant stuff from Kenny, he was truly a great & innovative comedian, his comedy is very similar to that of Spike Milligan.

The ladies in Hot Gossip are much hotter than any girl groups around today.

  • No wonder I never see you anymore... just love this... amazing!

  • Surely in these more enlightened times we should be seeing more dance groups like Hot Gossip?

  • yeah!

  • lol, i still remember those strange feeling in my pants when hot gossip came on during Kenny's show, was good to see them again, the girls are just as hot as i remember.

  • Can't put anything like that on the BBC now days, PC will cut it down.. shame...

  • Any know a web site with pictures of the hot goss burds?

  • Can anybody remember the names of the Hot Gossip dancers in that I can only recognise Donna Fielding,Roy Gayle,Perri Lister,Lorraine Whitmarshand Sarah Brightman

  • do you klnow what the blonde ones name is with the straight hair & the pussy cat face?

  • If you mean the short Blonde that's Donna Fielding

  • thanks for that Perizada, when Kenny Everett first cam on air I was in my early teens...I used to watch the show just for her...she was/is so gorgeous

  • Me too.

  • Pretty sure Carol Fletcher's there

  • im only 18 but i know all about this guy!

  • haha, 13 and know all about him xD but nice one, he's worth knowing about =D

    L x

  • kenny everett was truely brilliant, my dad is a real fan. i watched his 'naughty bits' dvd and it was fantastic!

  • Repel-a-thug... its got a telephone...Hello & Help....HAHAHAAAA Brilliant!!!!

  • Also my favourite line from that sketch. The delivery is just brilliant.

  • great to see kenny everett but only heard of him last night and its sad to hear that he died of aids which was the same as freddie mercury's. a little known fact most of his religeous sketches were based on his childhood

  • Ah Kenny - god bless his cotton socks. I remember as a kid overhearing my Dad talking to my Mum saying that I was too young to watch Kenny because of Hot Gossip. I was only about 9, so I didn't see the sex in it really. Clueless. Wow, I've changed a lot.

  • ma......n i heard one joke and was so busy laughing i could hear the following sketches ....hes a one of brilliant.....charles

  • Kenny Everett is the bollox,so funny ,so talented and great to see again.

  • Kenny Everett - comedy genius and musically gifted too.

Shame about the guys in Hot Gossip. Would be som much better with them not there!

  • I had considered not including teh Hot Gossip routines, but they were a big part of the show and a lot of Kennys gags referred to them, so it seemed wrong to leave them out.

  • If you look at it in the context of the day there were powerful political parties against the expression of any sexuality; Hot Gossip was revolutionary. They were quite different to the 'in your face' dancers of the USA as they were sultry, cat like, and implied so much more than you saw. Kenny probably thought they were important for they represented a sexual freedom that he was also tying to discover and drew attention from (or gave validity to) some of his most provocative characters.

  • Wow! those girls dancing were gorgeous, i see now why i watched so much as a kid...
