this is slightly dfrnt from what i learned as well, but even master yamashita does kata slightly dfrnt in his books that he puts out to the public than he does in class. the variations in this vid are an xtra move here & there or the rmvl of blocks of moves. many times when doing vids or demos for the public, forms are changed slightly so that if they are being learned from by someone not in the style, they'll be dfrnt enough to be called out and then you can track where people learn these from
