10 years is easily possibly - Doctor Who's been running since the 60's, Last of the Summer Wine since 1973 and Eastenders since 1985, not to mention all of the other old shows we've got that are still going strong. But ABOFAL only ran from 1989 to 1995, and the pilot's from 1987, so it didn't run all that long unfortunately.
