umm is your oscar still alive? and if it is how big is it? and do you still have gold fish thats small in with him? bcuz i have a tank with 2 small goldfish and some other green and red fish with a spot on its base of its tale ( don't know what its called) and i watn to add a oscar in with them but im afriad if the oscar will eat the fish or he will be to latrge and then eat the fish my tank is 29 gallon too.
lol funy to see fights in comments :P , wel if u see from fish point of view they wud alays like bigger space even 500 galons wud b better for one fish if u comapre it with 50 gallons so its like no limit but if u hav filteration and cycling water and good feed u can raise fish properly still in smaller place just like birds they need alwasy biger space its better fr them but we raise them easily and they r happy until they get feed and good environment thy r hapy in cage too and breeds
Thats crowded. Especially since the pleco is going to die if it is the kind that grows big which I bet it is saying it is 6 inches. I have a pleco but it is a kind that will only grow max size 5 inches. It is in a 10 gallon at the moment but when it grows a little more I will move it into my 29 gallon.
my oscar died becuase too many phosphates and the water got really cloudy sp he never saw his food then it finally got clear after a week of phosphate remover and 25% water change but by the end of that week my blue guorami started picking on him but he was too weak to do anything so the gourami pretty much killed him by sucking out his eyes and all his scales off.... and i cought a 4 inch aluminum barb or whatever they call it and the blue gourami destroyed him too.... it was pretty funny!
You have too many fish in the tank, that's why it's cloudy.
I would advice you take some time and really research your fish, do some Google searches and look up "Oscar fish care" "African Clawed Frog care" "Goldfish care" "Blue Gourami care" "Nitrogen cycle" "heximita" "fish diseases" "undergravel filter" "micron filter pad"
It's very important to know as much as possible about your fish, so you can give them the care they need.
no offense but those really bright " rocks " probably stressed him out. lol. like it's in a acid trip underwater.
