how unfortunate that such a neat little band had 2 important members die. At least Jimmy got to be a bit more well known playing with McCartney before he died. Speedy Keen will be missed too
Every time I hear this song, it always takes me back to "The Strawberry Statement," an anti-war movie that I saw a long, loooong time ago, when I was a hippie high school kid. It was an important movie to me. There were lots of songs in the movie, but this one particlularly represented the main theme, at least to me. I think that this live version is actually better than the recorded version. The piano part is a little bit improvised here, and it works out great.
How nice to hear that after so many years. Great live version, too. Sad that Jimmy McCulloch died so young and that John 'Speedy' Keen didn't live to enjoy old age.
one of the few bands to have a piano solo, awesome!

is this the same band that used to include Jimmy McCulloch on lead guitar back in the 70's?

Great version of a well remembered classic! Fantastic piano rendition and well performed . Not too distant from the original .

A great performance of an all time classic. Love the new lineup. They're gonna go far. Can't wait to see their version of Accidents.
