Also, I felt completely trapped, and had an anxiety attack. Tust me, it's not made up. There are also physical symptoms of anxiety disorders as well, so it's not made up. And those side affects you're talking about? you so realise that it's law in the UK to list every single possible side effect that could happen? If someone in the trail has stomach bug and vomits every 20 minutes, they have to put it on the box. It's the law.
@georgiamay8413 yeah i have anxiety too, none of those drugs help with that. then i started getting into meditation and it helped. realized my reason for anxiety is having too crowded a mind. no one needs these drugs. maybe xanax here and there to help a panic attack or just enjoy, but this stuff doesnt help anyone. my cousin went crazy and was killed by police while being on setraline.
I agree with you when you say that drugs are prescribed way too often, because they are, over here in the UK too. But I'm going to have to disagree with you when you say that social anxiety is "made up" or whatever. Because I'm sure other people that have it wouldn't say the same. I've experienced times when I've had a panic attack because I was terrified of walking too quickly and catching up with the people in front of me, but I was terrified that the people behind me would catch up with me.
I withdrew from Paxil and during that, I sufferd for over 6 month's with suicidal toughts. I,m still alive, because I knew these horrible thougts were side affects. I do now understand, how schools-shootings take place and how mothers kill their children.
I had to find out for myself, but I asure you, whitdrawl from SSRI's is absolute hell. My side-effects are common, not incidental. Knowing this, makes me stronger to keep on going.

the ssri's aren't synthetic seretonin. just drugs telling your brain to produce more and yes, they are highly dangerous.
