That is a question so often asked by those who believe that every animal has a right to a life free of suffering. I have yet to come up with an explanation. I suppose some people do not believe that animals are not capable of having hopes and dreams or of feeling fear or pain,despite the overwhelming evidence to the contrary. United In Light has stepped up and provided a loving home to horses that would have otherwise been discarded as useless. Sad but true. I will be forever grateful.
