  • Is this technique also useful for starting on a hill?

  • i really like your demonstration ! i even did a video myself after watching yours, maybe you like to check it out

  • i learned these techniques from this guy, great instructor and school, techniques were very helpful and fun to learn...i remember achieving heel and toe for first time and i screamed WOOOOOOOOOOO even on the road, ppl were like WTF and i was smiling it wasa great moment...i thank god up above for giving me this great gift and talent for cars......thnx and great vid!

  • Hay everyone...just wanted to give an update and say I'm still using my 3ft long dick to "Heel-dick-toe"...it works great...thanks for the comments...I know ur all jealous...

  • lol =)

  • looool

    good one !

  • Its called "heal toe" not "left side of right foot / right side of right foot". When you heal toe you should be on the break with your toes, n then swing your heal over to blip the throttle. Only stupid ass hicks do it this way. Rocking your foot is always a good way (if you slip) to fuck your ankle up. BAD VIDEO.

  • You're an idiot. Firstly, it's HEEL toe. Secondly, rocking you foot ensures that you have full control of your brake pedal. Your ankle won't get fucked up while rocking unless you have some retarded pedal placement or you over-do it. This guy is an instructor, you're just a youtube user, you lose.

  • lmao

  • lol u wish

  • HAHAH JKES

  • LMFAO

  • lol OMG, by far the best post on this page, I'd give 10 thumbs up if I could

  • I actually find that in my car (a small VW Polo) the pedal disposition makes this heel toe technique impossible. What I do is I use my heel on the breaks and throttle with my toes. Took some time to get used to it but it ended up working just fine.

  • well if you're like me and have huge feet (size 14 represent) heel toe is challenging. but, there is another way to do it without pressing both the gas and the brake at the same time, but i guess thats why its not called heel toe. but rev-matching has worked pretty well for me, once you've mastered it it works just as well as heel toe.

  • You said to just roll your foot over the gas pedal, so just lightly pressing it. You also started to say about the low pedals in the M5. I have a Toyota Yaris with a lower gas pedal than the brake and clutch, if I do heel and toe I have to press the brake harder. Or am I doing the technique completely wrong?

  • I have same problem in my Toyota. The only way i could use this technique is if I'm driving at fairly fast speeds and need to apply the brake hard, in which case i am able to reach the gas pedal. Although for daily regular driving this technique does not work for me. I just do a rev match downshift(Minus the heel & toe method).

  • It must be a case of the brake pedal being on a higher plane than the throttle pedal. You should adjust where you press the brake pedal. I press brake pedal at the very right, but it's very dangerous to do if my foot/ shoe is wet. Anyway, the point is so that my heel can "dive" to get the most blip out of the throttle.

  • this guy likes the sound of his own voice

  • Hahahahahahaha.

  • Everyone's a critic....and leaving stupid remarks. Why??? Can't we just watch the video?

  • ATTITUDE IS THE KEY !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wow, lol, why are you guys being so hateful. There IS only one way to do it...just depending on the pedals, you may press the throttle with a different part of your foot.

Some cars don't have enough room down there to get your heel over the throttle, so you just rock your foot to the right and catch the throttle with the outside of your foot "rocking" it.

Don't comment if you don't know what you're talking about, heh...

  • Yes , but what about if we have a REALLY NICE QUESTION? CAN WE STILL ADD OUR STINKY COMMENTS? by the way you know how long it took me to get my username account?????!!

  • LOL WTF!!! heel n toe is about apply both brake n gas... there are multiple methods and its just a term for that... it doesnt mean there is only one way to apply it, skenehc... IDIOT

  • well...first ur theory is wrong, and heel and toe means heel and toe, so No, it's not supposed to mean rocking ur foot side to side.

    REVOLUTION MATCHING is the purpose.

PREVENTING SHIFT LOCKS is the outcome.

  • it all depends on the car pedals.. heel and toe is the name of the technique, doesn't matter how you do it as long as you get the result.

    REVOLUTION MATCHING is the purpose.

PREVENTING SHIFT LOCKS is the outcome.

  • Sorry, but you are wrong. Please don't post ignorant comments like this anymore.

  • Its not about maximum performance, it is about balance. ie not locking up the rear wheels. You suck mate, really...

  • not bad, at least you explained the theory, the videos that i have watched all just show you and it goes a little to fast to really get it. and thanks, now i understand better. good job.

  • yeah that sucked....

  • good for you

  • this video is useless for learning how to heel-toe lmao

  • Why do you say that? He explains exactly how to do it. What would doing it on the road show you besides the engine going, "vroom vroom"?
