@MrRenoMagic, Damn man. I can see u got serious talent. I'm a Sophomore and i busted my ass training just to get about a 16-18. My triple jump right now tho is about 40-41. I'm not like u dude, i'm the kind of guy who has no talent, but works hard as hell. u need to take advantage of ur talent and work hard.
With respect to the description in this video: there is NEVER a point in talking about scratch distances. Ever. Or distanced jumped in practice. What matters is the meet day distance.
Dang..I doubt he won the contest though. Last year there was this guy that jumped 24 ft, and got 4th place...coincidently his name was also vincent...
im 14 and have been jumping since the 5th grade; i jumped a PR of 19' 7" (5.97 meters) this year and i was just wondering for a little inspiration, what were you jumping in ur freshman highschool year indoor?
im a freshman in high school and today i jumped 17'3" which is my best so far and i was wondering if thats pretty good or not. how far did u jump as a freshman
You're a phenominal athlete. working on the little aspects of your technique (e.g. better extention on the landing, penultimate, knee drive on the take-off) will take you wicked far!
im not boasting but 4.1m for a beginner hus 14 isnt special. im 14, have been jumping with no training at all and have only been jumping for 2 months when i want to for fun and my personal best is 4m 88
hey man you may not remember me but i actually competed against you in high school, i was a pretty good hurdler from cy-fair, went 36.79 at state in the 300s best long was 23.5' and long jumped against you a few times keep up the good work
work on your penultimate step and you'll go 24' or 25' all day, maybe try and develop your run a little better also you're waaaaay too fast out of the back, but great body position off the board, you've got a lot of potential my friend now you just gotta work on those tiny details, best of luck!
I'm 14 jumping 6M.46cm and I'm not gonna lie your speed is sick but the technique isn't the best :/
