Congratulations JakeElee, now I´ve heard so many versions of this wonderful solo, I´m not the judge or asshole here but my opinion is that your version is absolutely one of the best because of sound, technique, timing, bendings, and so weird position of picking. Picking hand´s position were weird, but you made it still quite allright, timing was almost correct but bendings in the end were awful and so out of tune. Anyway very nice try and some more training and it´s all yours. Btw pretty boys with mustache is somehow hilarious combination, (f)ugly dude is different.

A very ''different'' picking technique.. I mean the position of your hand is kind of weird.. (no disrespect) but the solo probably sounds better if you learn how to proper use you pickhand.

Thank you guys for your comments. It's a lower model which I spraypainted myself home in Sweden five years ago. I had never painted any guitar before but the result was impressive. It wasn't even hard to do it. I think the guitar is a similar one to the Fender Squier by the electronics.

i don't see the whole idea about the different pick holding "techniques" i just hold the pick with the inside of my thumb and index finger when playing power chords and rhythm parts and when i get to a solo a hold it with the inside of my thumb and my first knuckle on my index that way i can pick faster

I believe you only played for one year. When I started playing I learnt more int he first year than in the subsequent five, mostly because I was playing 8 hours a day or more. This is a good cover of the solo too.
