When I did this mission even before I watched X I utilized the shit outta reapers. Run, gun, bomb, and gtfo.I used them for the night missions AND the day missions, but it required a bit more micro because I couldn't bring medics.

X, you should really get the perdition turrets with your research points. The planetery fortress is not really usefull as the enmy doesn't get close to your command center. The perdition turrets are very good against most zerg ground units.
