i'm curious as to why he''s still playing in reasonsabl small venues with audiences such as this, who, quite frankly, don't seem that bothered. Why is he not selling out arenas and playing in huge venues where the crowd know every word of every song? I just think he should be considerably more famous than he is, given his talent

What I mean is, how has he wired it up? I can't see the pickup, would he have taped a piezo to the inside or something?

I've got something similar to his amped tone at the moment, using a contact mic on my acoustic, and using a low level of overdrive on my amp.
