  • yeah dude, now rip that peece a shit 6 out an throw in a v8 ..dude.

  • this car has a 250 inline dont it ? thats what the granada i got has in it

  • now take the i-6 out and slap a v8 in it and it would be mean :)

  • yeah nice 6 i have a 66 with an inline 6 also lol nice ride good work. my restoration is takin a little more time but hopefully i can finish it soon, great work

  • @sabordobruin1

I'm sure it will look great, keep on it.

  • My 65 coupe started after sitting for 18 years

  • Its not a V8 is it? looks like a straight 8 or what its called :D nice car, its got potential =)

  • It's a 6 cylinder and it is done, I have another video up showing its completion.

  • only a ford can do that, nice car, it will definately turn heads when its done

  • Its now done, I have a video posted.

    thanks

  • Nice car, i have a 66 with an inline six. So, are you going to keep the 6 or put in an eight

  • Its staying a 6 cylinder, and its actually almost done so I will be posting a video of its completion in the next couple weeks.

  • Sweet, I am glad you are keeping it a 6. I am doing the same thing by restoring a 66. I am hopefully going to get it started tomorrow after sitting since 1987. So are you keeping your 4 wheel drum brakes or are you switching to disc?

  • Its staying drum brakes for now, who knows what I will do next. I just have to do some final details, emblems, etc and I will have some new pictures up.

  • I saw that upper radiator hose disconnected and was about to ask wtf but then you mentioned it was missing the radiator haha.. Nice job getting it started !

  • Thanks

  • sweet cant wait to see it done. I too am keeping 4 wheel drum brakes

  • lolol. it's actually kinda funny, my speedboat has a straight 4, 3.0L and i got stuck out in the middle of the lake. that sucked. and after i got it back to the dock, i checked the carb and it was pouring gas into the barrels. it was ridiculous. but i didn't rebuild the carb, all i did was bang on it a bit, and i assume i knocked something back into position and it started right up. now i'm gonna rebuild it to prevent it from happening again. lmao. :D

  • old fords are always reliable. we have a 67 bronco (with pickup top dont see a lot of those) and its been sitting outside for about 15 years, after rebuilding the carb and turning the engine it startede up within the first hour of working on it. gotta love old fords, and body still looks good of 15 years in the weather and not moving

  • The 200 Ford inline 6 isn't the most powerful motor, but is one of the best inline 6's ever made.

  • Hay Cimmix r u matthew

  • nice, fords always start right up. my grandpa has a '74 thunderbird thats been sitting since '89. the problem is that its been outside exposed to the elements. do you think it would start with some minor work. such as cleaning the carb and stuff like that.

  • As long as there are no serious issues it should be fine.

  • u can always count on your fords

  • They have always served me well.

  • bless the six sounds good after 20 years

  • looks just like mine -2 cylinders

    fuel form gas can

    no radiator

except mine was in the barn since 77

  • now this is more of what needs to be seen on youtube a mustang

  • Correct

  • inline 6
