omg i cant beleave how smooth it run after so many year! great buy my friends..now its time to restore this great car, show more video of it please..cya.. :)
yeah nice 6 i have a 66 with an inline 6 also lol nice ride good work. my restoration is takin a little more time but hopefully i can finish it soon, great work
Sweet, I am glad you are keeping it a 6. I am doing the same thing by restoring a 66. I am hopefully going to get it started tomorrow after sitting since 1987. So are you keeping your 4 wheel drum brakes or are you switching to disc?
Its staying drum brakes for now, who knows what I will do next. I just have to do some final details, emblems, etc and I will have some new pictures up.
I saw that upper radiator hose disconnected and was about to ask wtf but then you mentioned it was missing the radiator haha.. Nice job getting it started !
lolol. it's actually kinda funny, my speedboat has a straight 4, 3.0L and i got stuck out in the middle of the lake. that sucked. and after i got it back to the dock, i checked the carb and it was pouring gas into the barrels. it was ridiculous. but i didn't rebuild the carb, all i did was bang on it a bit, and i assume i knocked something back into position and it started right up. now i'm gonna rebuild it to prevent it from happening again. lmao. :D
old fords are always reliable. we have a 67 bronco (with pickup top dont see a lot of those) and its been sitting outside for about 15 years, after rebuilding the carb and turning the engine it startede up within the first hour of working on it. gotta love old fords, and body still looks good of 15 years in the weather and not moving
nice, fords always start right up. my grandpa has a '74 thunderbird thats been sitting since '89. the problem is that its been outside exposed to the elements. do you think it would start with some minor work. such as cleaning the carb and stuff like that.

The 200 Ford inline 6 isn't the most powerful motor, but is one of the best inline 6's ever made.
