Truth be told, this is an *excellent* way to learn how to draw better by learning anatomy through demonstrations like THIS on YouTube. By watching the sculpture being created this helps me visualize in my mind's eye what various parts of the body should look like. Can't say enough good things about an example like this. I feel smarter just looking at it.

Hi there, Beautiful work and really good informative videos, thanks
I'm a super sculpey novice but I was wondering, do you have to warm areas of your models when revisiting them? and, do you always build up using small strips like you demonstrated in he Hulk torso video?
Hope you have time to answer my questions. Good luck GV
Hi there, really enjoy your films and your work, beautiful. I have a couple of questions from a sculpey novice: Do you warm the areas you are working on when you revisit sections? and do you always build up in small strips... like do did when starting the torso of your hulk figure. GV
Besides the denatured Alcohol. That's it. However I tried using Vaseline between the joint. It's suppose to stop the two separate pieces from contacting, however I stopped as it was not very effective.
(excuse my bad english) is there a big diference between super sculpey and the basic sulpey....i want to start doing some sculptures...but i wanted to know.
@juliankhor I can admit I'm almost cynical not to mention pesimistic,hidious,envious...and the list goes on..DUDE YOU RULE IT'S THE BEST THING I'VE SEEN. ITS 6.28 am BUT I CAN NOT GO TO BED BECAUSE I'M WATHING IT. NO MATTER WHAT KEEP IT ON......SERIOUSLY
I'll be making a bunch of DVD's for sculpting. Check them out soon ya. As for seminars..in good time I'll definitely try to have one... but it won't be at California. :/

I presume you are asking about the Gray Clay?. It's my own clay recipe. A mixture of Suclpey Original, SUper SCulpey and Sculpey III

@evildairo
Yes there is. Basic Sculpey( original sculpey) is cheaper and more softer. Also it is a little more brittle then super sculpey when baked.

It's polymer clay. They do not dry when exposed to air. It's oil based. And only hardened when baked. Check out SUPER SCULPEY clay.

Not joints but, detachable parts instead. Mainly the head and arms. Attached with magnets.
