It does look good....I just think if you had a lil more rollers and did them smaller so that they can fit in the pattern it would have came out great! And if parting was done better, I cant wait to try this thanks!
@Nibbler800 Sorry, I stay in Southampton and I'm not sure where you live. Anyways, you should be able to find the rods at Captial (Hair&Beauty) Ltd, located at: Unit 4, Belgrave Rd, Southampton, Hampshire. I know at the hair section of ASDA, there just might be rods. I'm not sure, I've never really looked out for them, but you might be able to find them there. Hope I could help.
That came out really, really cute!! I have to try those rollers!! I love Jane Carter's Wrap n' roll too!! I used it all the time when I had relaxed ends still while transitioning.
would you be able to type me all of the hair products you used to put in that bottle if possible? i go natural and i never have anything to do with my hair... your hair is beautiful! do you wash it and then spray everything in? how does that work
Thanks for posting this video! I just purchased those type or rollers and as you said there are no instructions, so I wanted to look for some advice online before using them. Thanks again, your hair looks very good.
luuv the way it turned out!...u look gr8... you made me go out and get the spiral rods!!..LoL..hope mine comes out as good w/o the head dryer...lol...
I'm sorry, but, Lil Man stole your thunder! LOL...
My hair is tight and coily...I will try these spiral rods to see what my hair will do. I am 3.5 years natural and tired of doing braids/cornrows to mask my natural mane! Thanks for posting
Omgosh!!! Thank you for posting this. I bought 1 pack of those spiral rods last year because they were cheaper than the flexi-rods and I didn't want to invest in them b/c I didn't know how my hair would turn out. I got them out of the pack and didn't know what to do with them...LOL...I had the rod upside down and was trying to secure the ends with rubber bands. I gave up after a few minutes and has since lost all the little end caps. I think I'll give it another try now. Thanx.
OMG thank you so much for this video. I tried to do a set last night and with no directions I was lost. Thanks to your video I now know how to do spiral rods the correct way.
I purchased these last night and almost lost my mind trying to get my hair around every single coil! Thanks so much for doing this tutorial. I might just post a vid of my results after I do my first set.
can someone tell me what are you using before set the spiral rods...becouse I cant hear clearly what are you saying...I just can see that she used olive oil...and look very cute :)
hiii...can someone tell me please what exacly u use before set the spiral rods..becouse I cant hear clearly all the words you say :)...I just can see that you use olive oil in the end :) - thank you
I saw those just yesterday in the hair store- I wanted them but they looked so confusing. Thanks for clearing things up. Just one thing, I couldn't clearly see exactly how you secured the end of your curl. It looked like the setting lotion allowed the hair to just stick in place..
Question??? Why come to a Natural Black Hair Video and ask if it works on White hair??? Obviously if you see a Black woman in the video it's meant to work on Black Hair...Do you see a White woman in the video??? Why do ya'll always feel the need to come to our videos and feel you have to be included??? Thats my question to you.
i got mine today at my local beauty supply store. they have medium rods and longer ones. there's 12 in a pack for about $3.50. it may depend on where you live.
omg. thank you thank you thank you! My mom came home with a bunch of these and i could never figure how to do it right. :) Your hair is so beautiful. Amazing and really cute! THANKS A BUNCH.
I LOVED your video!! Your hair came out soooo neat. I was wondering--can you tell me where I can get some of those curler rods? And the sweet little angel boy, he is soooo precious! So well behaved!!
I really liked how the curls came out. You are so gifted with creating wonderful hair styles. Your son is adorable. Thanks for my kiss and I send one right back to you.(LOL)
i've always seen these rods in the beauty supply store and never bothered to buy them. i swear online tutorials on these are so rare. they turned out great on you though. and i love your son. too adorable. :)
I like how it turned out. May be an alternative for me to not have to buy curlformers. I have about 5 packages of these that I couldn't get to work right. I will try again soon.
Thanks for the inspiration!! Aww and the ending was sweet.
O.M.G.!!! This is the tutorial I've been looking for -- for like 2 years!!! I bought these things way back when...and could NOT figure them out. Like you said: there are NO instructions. And anyone I asked online & on hair forums--all agreed they couldn't figure them out either. I think you are like the ONLY ONE who has mastered this product. The makers of this product need to pay you good money for this demonstration! SERIOUSLY!
Shoot, I'm not sure if I have these anymore. I might have thrown them out since I didn't know how to use em!!! I kept asking people how to use them, cuz I REALLY wanted to try them out!
Something's telling me, I probably either trashed them or donated them. DARN! :-(
i really liked how it looked with the poof at the front! maybe that will be a good style as the week progresses and it loosens up. and...your son is too much!!!! so cute and sweet!
