Perry is dangerous enough to be concerned about, but.... The democrats are the ones pushing for a FAILED Obama second term, and even though they should push a REAL progressive through their primary, they will not because they're just as corrupt as the GOP. They're not as dangerous, but just as corrupt, so let's just be honest about that. My POINT, no matter how bad the democrats fuck this up, the GOP has ZERO chance of taking the white house. That's how BAD they really are.

this brings up the debate about the right to vote. Some people should not be allowed to vote if they don't have a strong political opinion founded on reasonable arguments. The voters supporting Rick Perry are the exact opposite. They'll only worsen the situaion àof the country. if any of the Republican candidates becomes president you better get out of the US as fast as you can.

The only other thought that I can add to is that as absolutely, undeniably, extremely unintelligent as he is for a governor, let alone a president, atleast Bush in my opinion legitimately believed in most everything he did, said and policies he enacted. Bush, in his mind(which was likely the problem) really believed that he was doing the best for the United States and wholeheartedly believed that he was acting in our best interest. Perry is just a lying selfish scumbag!

your 'free" system is not very fair in that the costs are born by most of the young families who work for decades hardly ever needing medical services but pay heavy taxes to support the older people who do. the rich get free care while keeping their wealth to pass onto their children.

And, for most of those voters, I know the answer. They think they know everything. In my life, I've learned that people who are truly informed and smart know there's always more to learn in life. Isn't this almost always the case. I know it right upfront and personal that a lot of people vote Republican are largely uneducated and uninformed. I have friends, acquaintances and family members who fall under such a category. I can't debate anything with them because they: 1) don't know a single thing about what I'm trying to discuss and 2), almost all their views come from their knee-jerk, emotional reaction to issues. I've found there's very little logic supporting their views.
