Back in 2008 here in Oklahoma gas was 4 bucks a gallon with a barrel at 150 bucks...April 2011 gas was almost 4 per gallon here in Oklahoma again when a barrel was only 110 bucks.....After doing the math, price per gallon was nearly 1 dollar more than back in 2008.....They blew smoke up our ass saying E10 fuel would be cheaper..Two weeks ago part of the reason for high pump prices was do to the cost of corn to make E10...Got to love the lies from those people.

Here is an idea!!! Spread it around!!! Convince people to just not buy gas on saturdays. The amount of profit the oil companies would lose would be staggering if Americans just don't buy gas on ONE DAY. Just one day! I'm sure we can do it!!! Spread the word!!!

Fuel cell cars is the only to go,they use not a drop of oil. And to make the fuel for them is also clean, but the best part to this is we could tell the oil company's where to put their oil..

Oil companies do not set the price of oil. Second even if oil were free no refineries have been built in the U.S. in 30 yrs to turn it into gasoline factor that with a dollar tax on every gallon and fuel is expensive, sorry Bush haters it isn't his doing...its the environmentalist restriking the supply, so kill a hippie and pay less at the pump

Gas is bought at Auctions on Trading Floors, that's how the "cost of gas" is set.
Prices for anything go up, when demand exceeds the supply at the former (lower) price (adjust for inflation)...

Current gasoline prices in Cambria, CA where I vacation year after year. $3.66 for 87 octane as of 4/6/07.

Gas prices as of today, 4/7/07 in San Bernardino, CA. On average $3.29 for 87 octane up to $3.69 for 91 octane.

And ironically, daylight savings is intended to SAVE energy. Maybe not for cars, but some oil is used for power generation. Since people don't have to have their lights on as long, the cost of energy should actually go DOWN, because of less demand.
