When I was a kid, when the whole village was waiting for this movie to be screened on the national TV station, suddenly there was a power failure. Usually, we the villagers would just just let it be, because the government that time was really inefficient. BUT, this time, all the villagers went crazy calling up the electricity company using public phones until they really come and fix the problem before the movie starts.... hahaha... we all went crazy for Bridgitte Lin

the last part where lin chin hsia was falling to her death and looking at her lover for the very last time is really beautiful ... a VERY GOOD film indeed. hardly any films have such impact on me since. Another film i like is green snake.. also very beautifully shot.

This is a classic. one of the greatest hong kong movies ever made for its age. although i really wish they could remake a new Legend of Swordsman with today's technology and experience in movie directing. I think we will see action like this in Stephe Chow's Confu Hustle 2 coming out in 2010.

Great idea, bt nt sure if Dongfang Bubai will be as endearing to today's brain-dead/ conservative audiences lol. People today may prolly view him/her with little sympathy-
