Is the opening a tribute to "Hotel California"? I like the way it kicks in there.

Great vocal melody and strong lyrics, some of your best singing. Love that extended "no" at the end of each refrain. This will be a kick ass song when you fully produce it.

Chorus at 2:40 felt like a good spot to end it. Make it a that-was-too-short-gotta-play-­it-again song like AIC's "Them Bones"

Like that extended minor at 1:20, did you consider adding an abrupt stop before starting up again at 1:26?
