    hmphh

    snapped yesterday :/

  • Great

  • I to jest prawdziwy tutorial. A nie jakieś gówna w sieci...

And that's the real tutorial. Most stuff in the internet just sucks.

    God bless you!

  • 0:10 slash jack sparrow lol

  • Has anyone suggested the legend of Zelda main theme your the zelda underworld dungeon theme that'd be really cool to learn

  • Bar chords are a bitch :/

  • fuck b flat

  • Thank you!!! Кто-нибудь уже научился по этому уроку??? наверно пальцы в трубочку после такого сворачиваются...

  • very good thank you

  • Why do you people never show how the whole song sound in the begining of the video?

  • @XTsReaper 1. There's a link to the video of me playing it. 2. Who are "you people"? It's only me here. 3. I didn't want the video to get longer than 10 minutes, so I posted the "playthrough" video separately. 4. You already know how "He's A Pirate" sounds like, otherwise you wouldn't want to play it on guitar.

  • @LickNRiff I didn't intend to sound offencive. By "you people" I ment all the people who make guitar lesson tutorials. Nearly all of them start teaching the song, but no one shows how the thing will sound. And yea, I know how that song should sound like, but every musician plays it in a different way. There are so many other tutorials for "He's a pirate" and everyone sonds a little different than the last. So I need to hear it first from the musician in order to decide if i'll lear it from here

  • @XTsReaper I agree with everything you said. Luckily, I did make a video of how it's played: Go to /watch?v=SJgy7N8CVW8 :) Enjoy!

  • @LickNRiff , I liked your lesson as well as this reply.

  • Best tutorial on Pirates.Thankyou for sharing .

  • @davidskiwalker1297 I knew I forgot something! :) Yeah, of course I'll make a tutorial of that wonderful tune.

  • Thank you so much LickNRiff. At long last someone who can actually play this complicated little piece & teach it at the same time.

  • @angels77100 You're very welcome, my friend. :)

  • What are those toes doing there in the right corner below LOL ....

  • How long you've been playing fingerstyle guitar? I like all of your videos, especially the Monkey Island stuff :) oh and thanks for tabs, I'm currently practising those songs.

  • its to hardddddddddddddddddddd

  • AHHHH TOO MUCH INFOMATION

  • thanks for this lesson bro ^_^ just need little time and labor :) good luck :) i'm sure that u have a great future !

  • Got it! thanks for the lesson :)

  • Hi Great job dude! I'm getting on it right now. have a question though. At 5:33 (and later again) did you mean A instead of high F? I'm confused with the tabs...

  • @GWShark1 It's simple. If it's 565 on the bottom strings it's high F. There's no high A chords here, all the A chords are open string first position.

  • God Bless You i m trying ths lesson since many months you show me the way thank you very much

  • Thanks! I was looking for a lesson like this for a year. ;)

  • @omg68ful Cool. Glad you found it. :) Don't forget to subscribe if you like these types of lesson.

  • FINALLY! Thank you so much, finally a good fingerstyle lesson of He's A Pirate, screw all the other 1 string versions. THX BRO!

  • @borisgozur Thank you for the comment. Happy you enjoyed this. You can check out my channel, I've got a lot of arrangements and lessons like this one. Oh, and don't forget to share so others can enjoy this too :)

  • I'm trying to arrange this in a guitar pro tab. To me it sounds as it should b written in 3/4, but I've seen people write this in 6/8. Since I'm not that theoretically savvy, what makes 3/4 different from 6/8?

  • @twiksify You're correct, it is 3/4. The difference is in the "feel" of the beats, the accentuation, where the "one", the first beat, the strong, leading beat, is. Here it is every three beats, so it's 3/4 and not 6/8, where it's every six beats. If this was 6/8, then the accentuation would come every two bars and not every bar. When you're done arranging the guitar pro tab, send me a link. Please don't forget to attribute the arrangement to licknriff com. Thanks and good luck! :)

  • @LickNRiff Hi again, the guitar pro tab is done, although there are a few sections I'm not yet entirely pleased with. If you could help me correct them (bar 17-22) you could publish it on your blog if you'd like.

    megaupload com / ?d=SZUFE922

Thanks again, your video and the theory you embed into them really helps, keep up the good work!

Btw, the video you referred to; might it be the one by Igor Presnyakov?

  • very very nice video...Thank you very much :)

  • nice way of teaching !!!

    keep uploading...

  • Hans Zimmer wrote the theme (like most of the themes for the 1st movie). But he couldn't be credited for it because he was under contract for Last Samurai. Klaus Badelt made the soundtrack with what Zimmer wrote for him. The track "Pirates 4:56 AM" is the original demo Zimmer wrote.

    Awesome tutorial btw !

  • @CroweDharmaReloaded Well, that's good to know. :) Thanks for posting this. I stand corrected. And thank you for the compliment as well. Glad you enjoyed it.

  • TANKS SO MOUCH!!!!

    BEST TORUTAIL ON YOUTUBE ;P

  • @shaneuprising he is useing a steelstring guitar if you can't hear it.

  • can you please send tabs to me?

  • @sikreto33 I will upload the tab to the website today. Finally. :)

  • who composed it then, if it wasn't zimmer?

  • @schnisha95 Klaus Badelt.

  • Hello.

I like your arrangement, it seems easier to play than the (good) one of Wolfang Vrecun. (And it does not need the drop D tuning...).

Is it possible to get a copy of your tabs that I could print ?

    Thanx.

  • @b32a Yes. The tabs will be up really really soon. You can subscribe to my channel and I will update the moment I finally upload them.

  • @b32a vrecun's arrangement isn't even that difficult to play at all... it's just the fact that he plays it so well it makes you think that no matter how well you play it, you'll suck miserably -.-

  • R u using a nylon string or a steel string guitar? XD

  • hey. i´m biggining to play guitar for 1 mouth. i wanted to learn "he´s a pirate" but i can´t read the notes you know? can anyone help me? what are the numbers? can anyone help me in german? I´m very bad in english... i´m from germany

  • @BenjaminJoel12 I can't help you in German, but the lines are the strings from the high e to low E (From treble to bass), and the numbers are the frets, where you put your finger and press down on the string. Hope this helps.

  • @BenjaminJoel12 search on youtube.com "learn read tabs" will learn how to read tabs

  • Great, best teacher on Youtube

  • Great lesson.

But whait... Is that a FOOT on the bottom right, around 2:40 ???

  • @MrJoeHelmet Well, yeah. It *was* filmed on a pirate boat, after all.

  • Comment removed

  • @aviforevr Of course. It's here:

    watch?v=SJgy7N8CVW8

  • IT'S CAPTAIN JACK SPARROW !

  • Thankiu

  • Btw, do you mean as in if it was the chord C then you pluck some kind of pattern lightly to accompany the actual rhythm until the next note?

  • Hey man, awesome tutorial!!!! Totally thumbs up on this!!! Err.. I dun exactly understand the part in 3:32 where you said continue picking the rest of the bar? what exactly does that mean? can u write out the tabs? :)

  • @seyanxun There's no particular tab for "picking the rest of the bar". What I meant was, just play the notes of the chord until it's time for the next lick. For example, if you're in C and the lick was 1 and 3 on the e string, and the next lick is only at the next bar - Then just play around with the C chord for a second until its time to play the next one. Hope this clears it up.

  • @LickNRiff ok man! thanks a bunch! when's the tab coming out?can't wait XD

  • @seyanxun I really hope the tabs will be on the website as soon as possible. I don't want to rush it and make mistakes when I write them down.

  • Hello mate !

Awesome and again outstanding good tutorial!

I am looking forward to hear more and more from you ;)

However, would it be possible from you to write entire tab of a song?

    Thank you in advance!

    Regards

  • @vucikavolimte Which song would you like me to transcribe? Or are you referring to writing the entire tab of this arrangement? Thank you for the comment, my friend. Feel free to subscribe to the channel, I upload a new lesson every couple of days.

  • @LickNRiff I would kindly request from you to write entire tab of this song :)

    Thanks for fast response!

  • @vucikavolimt Alright. I will tab this and post it on the website soon. Don't forget to share this lesson with your friends and invite them to my channel :)

  • @StereoLightz It's right there in the tab... If I'd added verbal instructions on which strings to pluck, the lesson would've been ten minutes longer...

  • this is very cool :) thank you
