  • im glad the rezillos came to LA...I saw them and they wuz great

  • We need something like this now to shake up the music scene!!!!

  • All the girls in this video are HOT!!!!!!!!!!

  • @jayrox40

Even the drums are hot, mate! PML!

  • Saw them in Edinburgh in a wee venue up from Calton Road, can't remember what is was called as it's not there anymore, maybe 79 or 80?. I remember some asshole grabbing Fay's necklace and ripping it off her so she stopped the band and went mental at him. lol

  • @CaptainScarlet500 Maybe the Astoria April 1980?

  • @devilinthenewman - I found my ticket stub, it certainly was The Astoria, 25th May 1980! :-)

  • @CaptainScarlet500: OMG! I have epilepsy orgasmic goosebumbs for 3:50 just watching it on youtube... You must be that kind of person who never feels bad, after all, you have you 25th May 1980 paradise! Asshole!!!!! :)

  • @strattfordcrass Are you alright there mate?

  • @CaptainScarlet500 I was there too! The Astoria. I even remember the incident you mention, though I'd completely forgotten about it til now.

  • This vid should be made compulsory on the NHS for all men contemplating using anti depressants.

    :) 5 stars.

  • @rothenships Goodness! I was just watching their song "Destination Venus" and thinking what a good cure for depression it is.

  • Hahahha, this brings back memories i was at this, The Skids were there and they had about 8/9 takes, The Revillos had about 2. The band took me to it, i was 13, that was some day.

    Just brilliant!

    scott

  • Hi Scott [I think that this is the right Scott]

Hows it goin? hope you are well etc.

Max [Guitarist with Revillos from about 1981 or thereabouts] Did a reunion with Nicky Vince and Alan last year had a great time.

    all the best

  • I like the beats! Especially that piano pop sound! Like the fashion sese too!

  • Saw them in 79 supported by Girls School. mammy...............

  • Me too in, Aberdeen 1979... both bands were excellent.

The stage in Fusion was about knee height and there was danger of my knees getting broken in the crowd. So turned round sat on stage and Fay pushed my head down so I was lying on stage and she stood over me. one leg either side of my head. Electric green knickers as I remember. Was then pulled up by the bass player and given his guitar to put on and strum while he did the left hand stuff in a couple of numbers !! Freakin' brilliant night.

  • I think it was in the McRobert Hall, it was freshers night in 79 I think. Great night and you're correct about the knee-high stage.

  • YES Where's the Boy For Me Live. I LOVE IT !!!!! THANX

  • Mamma Mia!

    Fay Fife le da TODO!

    Que cantante....

  • como se llama esta cancion?? what's the name of this song??

  • el primero = "Where's The Boy For Me?" el segundo = "Motorbike Beat"

  • no puedes imaginar cuánto te lo agradezco. llevaba mucho tiempo detrás de estos temas, son geniales. muuuchas gracias.

  • "Where's the Boy for me". it was a 45 way back. I still have it!!!

  • Magic. I messed up Eugene's quiff when he jumped into the crowd in Newcastle - Sorry mate, just got a bit carried away.

    Come back soon.

  • Such Fun! Music to feel happy to. Must dust off my pair of pink propellor boots.

  • Remember watching the Revs in Blackpool in 1981 - Eugenes quiff by then was about a foot high straight up in the air - he must have gone through a full can of hairspray to keep it up - by the end of yet another totally wild and sweaty gig it was hanging sideways off his head but still all wodged together with the hairspray......they did the best live stageshows I have ever seen.........wish I had a time machine to go back and watch em again!

  • I was there - Norbreck Castle Nitespot - think they may have played ther twice in '81, but the occasion I remember they had an under 18s gig on the Saturday afternoon then over 18s in the evening, and I went to both (went home between to put on a jacket and tie for the evening one). Also saw the Barracudas (audience of 6, but magnificent), Stray Cats, Gary Glitter (!) & Screaming Lord Sutch at the Norbreck around that time.

  • what fabulous pop music they made the revillos and the rezillos. god bless em xxx

  • Was in their fanclub, ran by a guy called mitch from Lnagley Park Co Durham. One of the Revettes was my pen pal! Saw them loads live, gigs were mental, wanted Fay to have my babies. Shame I was only 13

  • I am 20 years old again watching video america on chanel 68. I LOVE thr REVILLOS

  • SENSATIONAL....the kids of Alex Harvey &;-]

  • I always thought Fay Fife was sexy, and I was always right.

  • Are those real 1964 Courreges boots on her feet? And I almost thought her dress was an actual 1966 Paco Rabane, but it's too flimsy looking to be that. If it is one, though, damn!

  • that was 'something else' fucking fantastic!!

  • A good video but i can't get over the resemblence Fay fyffe has to kate pierson of the B-52s not only in appearence but also in voice and by the way she's not fay Fyffe she's fae Dundee ha ha

  • I saw them twice in 1980 - had all their records. Big fan when I was 13.

  • and of course it also says Revillos on the drumskin :-)

  • Revillos' earliest TV performance [1979] on Something Else [BBC]: the songs are Where's The Boy For Me and Motorbike Beat. Fay Fife, Eugene Reynolds, Robo Rhythm on drums with Hi-Fi Harris on guitar, Felix on bass, and Babs and Cherie as the Revettes. Amazing footage, shame about the pause button on the VCR!

  • ok, revillos. and what,s the name of the song?? thanks.

  • i see i should have known

  • faspme is right, that's the Revillos -- you can tell because, among other things, that's Rocky Rhythm on drums (who can be seen in other Revillos videos on YouTube). Angel Paterson beat the skins for the Rezillos.

  • it's rezillos

  • THANKS

  • my pleasure

  • no, it's reVillos!

  • NO IT"S not is says so on there official website and every other website there is about them!

  • The Rezillos broke up, then Faye & Eugene formed the Revillos (this video). Years later, the Rezillos reformed.

  • @mattman92

    No, this is The Revillos.
