  • @Benstudio13 i love the ride it is just the dang song and what if u got to use the bathroom in the second room.i went to disneyworld a year ago and it is still stuck in my head the song

  • I know it's kind of late, but with the magic hours it's better to at least do Fantasyland then because by then all the kids are gone.

  • Major tip: try to do the typically "busy" rides during the parades at night. You can get on Big Thunder Mountain, and even Splash Mountain, really easily during this time. (I'd say between 9 and 11 at night, at least during the summer anyway.)

  • Go on everything! You havent expirenced WDW unless u went on EVERYTHING> LOL

  • Compare the Small World ride at DW with the one at DL.

  • dont go on the carousel of progress.

  • @nowheredust what? are you insane? Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress? it's a classic!

  • @nowheredust No, always go on Carousel of Progress. It's one of the classics that Walt Disney made (although it has been updated 2 times)

  • PLEASE DO A VIDEO OF THE HAUNTED MANSION THERE!!!!!

  • Make sure you go on the people mover (known as the Tomorrowland Transit Authority), Space Mountain (We've got the original), Spaceship Earth, Expedition Everest, Rock'n'Rollercoaster, and Carusel of Progress. Have a good trip and, in the words of our monorail "Please stand clear of the doors, Por favor, mantengense alejado de las puertas".

  • Oh, Rock'n'Roller Coaster is a must (mgm kingdom comedy?)

  • Only advice I can give you is don't look for EO at Magic Kingdom, bad idea.

  • @ItBeTricky It's at Epcot.

  • Looking for hidden mickeys is a must. Also go to Starlight rays cosmic cafe in the Magic Kingdom just outside Tomorrowland. Theres a singing alien. Another thing is getting a fastpass for ToyStory Midway Mania first thing at Hollywood Studios because queues can get up to 80 minutes there, so its best not to become totally annoyed listening to mr potato head singing for eighty minutes. To avoid this always get fastpasses for major rides (Soaring, Expedition Everest) at the start of the day.

  • When are you going Tim?

  • I just say go to the other magic kingdom and enjoy the differences. Ive been to DL a million times it was fun to see the changes that was made to the magic Kingdom. Oh go on the people mover cause its gone in DL

  • You have to go on the people mover! My family and I were their a few years ago and it was so cool and a nice sit down for when your feet hurt after being on them all day. You will walk A LOT so be prepared. Also, It will be humid. Horribly humid. You will be sweating in places you didn't know could sweat. But it's all worth it!! Have Fun!! :) p.s. Love your videos

  • Once you get back, you should do a funny comparison video on which is better.

  • you definitely got to go to club cool in Epcot and try the sodas!!!

  • you should do a cover of "I'm on a Boat" on all the boats and boat rides at Disney World!!

  • dont miss the great movie ride at disneys hollywood studios its behind the the big sorcerer mickey hat after you first enter the park it looks like the chinese theatre in LA

  • Pizza Planet!

  • tommrow lands blue tooth tour (aka the highway in the sky) is about 5-10 mins most of the time(also some not many people go to the shows. Don't get me wrong it might change when you go). Rides like buzz light year ride, haunted manson and its a small world is about 15-30 mins. Toon town has a place to meet chatachers and a rollercoaster. Toon Town is inbetween Fastasny Land and Tommrow land. They have a parade at 3 o clock (Im about 90% sure of it) On a route to Main Street so I suggest go

  • I've been to Walt Disney World for about 18 years and the personal place I would start is at the Magic Kingdom. If you can take advantage of the fast passes. You probabilty already know but the fast passes can be used after its time its call at. About noon time it will start getting crowd at any of the parks where lines can go up to an hour to an hour and a half. All the moutains and peterpan have the longest wait in the park. Some rides like jungle cruise or tommrow lands blue tooth

  • Disneylanders like you and me can really appreciate the the immersive and brain-candy experience. i think most people go to WDW for the thrill rides. but there are plenty of educational rides all throuout the parks(especially in futureworld and shows in world showcase). don't skip a park just because it has like two thrill rides, there's loads to see in each park so keep it a day to a park. but epcot needs two days, it's HUGE. eat french pastries and norweigan shcoolbread and canadian aerobars

  • i though about it for a while and forgot some essentials. GET FASTPASSES FOR SOARIN AS SOON AS YOU ARRIVE IN EPCOT. they run out immediately. Epcot has a brand new thrill ride that no one knows about called sum of all thrills. you design a ride of your own and ride it in a simulated robocoaster. magic kingdom does have some classic things like an un-altered tom sawyer's island, swiss family robinson's treehouse, carousel of progress and the peoplemover(listen for the new voice of mickey there).

  • In the magic kingdom, there's no star tours, no matterhorn, no subs, no indy, no tiki room, no lincoln, no Eo, no byou, no 33, no mr. toad's, no columbia, and THE DOLE WHIP IS SOUR-ER AND THE SMALL WORLD CASTLE IS INDOORS!!! who puts a whole castle under a tent? honestly! but they do have the hall of presidents, though (must-see). and pirates has the same smell. speaking of smells you can smell autopia all the way from fantasyland(cause it's right next to it) all the rides are badly cared for

  • trust me, going from going to DLR all the time to going to WDW all the time is SURREAL!! everything is out of place and bigger and missing stuff and a different color OMGWTFBBQ!!! magic kingdom is a little less convenient than Disneyland. street are narrower, phsads are not blended properly and look tacky compared to Walt's magic kingdom. Pirates is a billion miles away from Mansion but the flowerbed around the partner's statue is smaller and there's no light in the second story ofthe fire dept

  • animal kingdom is a half-day thing, see lion king show, everest, dinosaur, safari, and eat lunch in the restarauntosaurus. basically everything in epcot is worth seeing. save the Walt museum in hollywood for last, when you're the only one there and no one is talking. try using streetview on google maps to associate yourself with where everything is(i believe this work inside the parks themselves, too). star tours is almost the same except the interior que is reversed(surreal).

  • MAKE DINNER RESERVATIONS ONLINE OR PHONE A COUPLE WEEKS IN ADVANCE. WDW has a great selection of places to eat, so choose wisely. may i recomend the coral reef (epcot), the yak&yeti(animalkingdom) and primetime 50's diner(hollywood). Magic kingdom has nothing but junkfood, except the noodle station in tomorrowland. For epcot, spend a day in the world showcase, and a day in futureworld. NO WAY will u EVER see all of epcot in 1day. Pee before you ride the ellen degeneres ride(its 45mins long).

  • Most importantly, know your way around every park; know what you are going to see. If you have a car, stay in a vacation rental in the kissimee area(cheaper than the actual rsr t.ok, Do NOT go to their tiki room. WDW's tiki room is nowhere NEAR the dole whip station, and the dole whips taste a whole lot different(they sweeten dland's more). summernighttastic, (firework show) is the same as in ca. DO NOT MISS ILLUMINATIONS in epcot. find a good seat around 30 mins b4 the show starts.

  • Don't go to animal kingdom there's like two good rides and the rest is a friggin zoo

  • Whatever you do, do NOT go on Stitch's Great Escape. It's just total crap, and you will hate it...

Or wait. Go on it so you can rip it apart on a later episode! I want to see that!

  • @AdrenalineAddict610 that ride is bad i wish it was an ALIEN ride

  • @96gamerdude I also wish it was still the ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter. That thing was freaking AWESOME!

  • @CarolineWDWCP haha. of course caroline! lol you would. <3

  • tape the differences on the rides like small world and the haunted mansion

  • that was awesome yet again, tim! Have fun!!

    ~Ellen

  • Ive been going to Disneyland since I was 3 too, but im going to Disney World for the first time on July 12th, but I did my research (and made spreadsheets too), so I could help. Go to Theme Park Insider for tips.

  • About time you made this video. I'm going july 12th, excited.

  • All I have to say is that Epcot is by far the best park, in my whole family's opinion. If we could only go to one, we always chose that. My mom loves the Norwegian bakery there. But also, I think an Amazing Race (if you've ever seen that show) in either a WDW or Epcot version would be cool (my family actually talked about this not too long ago...also, for future reference, a parody of like Survivor on Tom Sawyers Island would be legit...my family likes reality shows.

  • go on Rockin roller coaster you will not regret it and go on stichis grate escape and when are you going?

  • Hey there Tim! It's so awesome you're coming here, I'm a CM here! I don't even know where to start suggesting stuff, but since most people are talking bout the parks, I'm gunna talk bout the resorts (even if you're staying at a different one you can still visit them) and the most awesome restaurants. Best resorts are: Animal Kingdom Lodge, Wilderness Lodge, Yacht Club, Contemporary, Port Orleans (Riverside), and the Polynesian.

  • Simple. One park per day. Do EVERYTHING. Get there at opening. Rerecord the Magic of Disney "World"?

  • I haven't been, but since this sounds a limited opportuity, I'd recommend you upgrade your camcorder to and HD one. All the videos I shoot of dineyland on my channel are done with a sony 60gb HD camcorder from 2007. If its not a burden you won't regret the upgrade, once you start uploading HD content to U Tube. You proobably have some one that can coach you on it but if you don't I'll help. My son and I enjoy your videos. Good luck at Disney world.

  • Been 71 times since 1972, so... let me think about it (on how to make short and quick suggestions) and I will get back to ya!

  • You adding the world part to your the Magic of Disneyland song reminded me of the dogs from Pixar's UP saying squirrel. Maybe you should do a Disney World version of that song. A video of that would be cool.

  • There's so much I can say about Disney World. But definitely take advantage of the extra magic hours if you are staying at a Disney Hotel. My family and I did that on our recent reunion there. And one night at the Animal Kingdom, we got to ride Exepedition Everest five times in a row. I too took my HD camcorder with me and filmed 9 hours of footage which turned into an awesome 2 hour DVD.

  • Don't miss La Cava del Tequila. It's an awesome little tequila bar in the Mexico pavilion at Epcot. I recommend the "Reserva De La Cava Tequila Flight" "The Magic Blue Margarita" and some tostadas. Maybe even two of those ;)

  • Tell people you're Cuban.

  • FYI the 3 o clock parade starts at 3 o clock :D

  • WDW's Magic Kingdom is much larger that Anaheim's. You will be pleasantly surprised that the haunted mansion is not literally on top of Splash Mountain.. like it is in DL.

You are in for ALOT of extra walking, especially in EPCOT.

My tip to you if you are staying on property... stay at a monorail resort.. nothing beats that!

  • Esplanade. LOL.

  • when specifically will you be there? i can definitely give u some great tips as an ex cast member and current vacation club owner :) but specific dates (month at least if u dont want that known)

  • Bet place to catch a ride in the front of the monorail is EPCOT to the transportation center . Almost any time of day but best at night.

  • Keep the time zone differences in Mind Baab....there's a three hour time difference between Cali and Florida.. so with that said... instead of celebrating the Magic of 3 o'clock actually Disney World actually celebrates the magic of 6 o'clock... oh and it begins at 2:15 p.m. ENJOY!!!

  • before u go on mission space, get a heart test lol hahah

  • Definitely check out the World Showcase in EPCOT.

The WDW versions of Haunted Mansion and Big Thunder are quite different too :)

Definitely check out EPCOT's firework show 'Illuminations'.

DisneyQuest in Downtown Disney is DEFINITELY worth a visit at least once.

If you like Cirque Du Soleil, La Nouba is the best show there is. Don't miss it!

My favourite attraction, for ANY Disney fan though, is Mickey's Philharmagic. By far!

Looking forward to your videos on your visit!!

  • - animal kingdom: expedition everest, kilimanjaro safaris

    - magic kingdom: mickey's philarmagic, space mountain [its different than CA]

    - epcot: test track, mission space, all the countries; france has a REALLY good bakery with pastries, desserts, etc. delicious!

    - hollywood studios: indiana jones stunt show, lights motor action stunt show, rock n roller coaster, backlot tour

    - if you can only go to 1 water park, blizzard beach is better! ideally if you have a lot of time, enjoy everything!

  • There's so much to say!! But the space mountain there is not as good as disneyland's so don't get your hopes up. Umm... LOVE world showcase in epcot!! DO THE KP MISSIONS!! fun for all ages (and totally trippy). See luminations...umm...ROCKIN' ROLLERCOASTER!!!!!! DO IT!! Yes, ONE PARK A DAY!!soooo much

Umm... EXPEDITION EVEREST is AMAZING...do it..Dinosaur is GREAT. The SEAS ...go in there cuz that's where the NEMO ride is....SOARN' is a waste of time if you live in california and go todisneyland

  • Hollywood studios is great for the film geek in me. A lot of shows, and great for a relaxing day. with an epic roller coaster

Epcot, for another relaxing day of walking around, and hitting a few rides. Please, go on the troll ride in Norway, aKA The Maelstrom. I Missed it my last trip, and its one of my favorites.

    WDW - Philharmagic is amazing!

  • @WtfTrhpeanut

Animal kindgom, mostly animals, but the safari is great. go on it around noon, most of the animals will be out then. Expedition everest is another thing not to miss, same with dinosaur.

Also, i would stay stick to 1 park a day, there's lots to see, and lots to do.

and if you like dinosaurs and have some cash to spare, i recommend going to T-rex in downtown disney. it's like the rainforest cafe (if you've ever been there), only with dinos!

    P.s. Have a great trip!

  • Things To Not Miss: Pirates of course, Duh. The TTA. Cosmic Ray's Cafe in Tomorrowland. Test Track at Epcot Center. In the Mexico Pavillion there is an attraction titled The Three Caballeros. In the Norway Pavillion there is an attraction titled The Maelstrom. In the American Pavillion, you can view an animatronic show. Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular. The Great Movie Ride.

Best Spot for a churro is right outside the Pirates attraction. Get yourself a dole whip while you're there.

  • Go on Expedition Everest in the Animal Kingdom. It's kind of like the Matterhorn and big thunder mountain combimed! plus it goes backwards!

  • I would give more tips... but it seems like others already got that. lol =D

If there are rides that are exactly the same as Disneyland, you can skip those. But there are a lot that are diffrent in small ways, even though they are the same ride...

Hope you have a good time. I wish I could go with you!

  • I know all about Disney World. It's basically the same rides, except a Matterhorn-type ride at Animal Kingdom called Expedition Everest. It's pretty fun. It usually has long lines. Also, some rides have single rider lines to cut the wait.

  • You can definitely make fun of our little Small World. Like how crappy the facade is.

  • There is still SO MUCH to say. I love Dland, and I love WDW, both for completely different reasons and ways. WDW is very different but still very magical. You'll have a BLAST if you take it as what it is. Switch parks throughout the day, it's not too bad. Don't buy the $14 hotel soda refill. Your hotel food is same as in the parks themselves, keep in mind. Go early, stay late, doesn't matter (AK closes early though!) Have fun, Tim! /MC user "smaps" :)

  • - WDW Splash Mt > Dland Splash Mt :)

    - Stitch is seriously not. that. bad. We liked it. Certainly more than the new Tiki room, which does not exist, BTW. Don't listen to the Stitch haters.

    - Ellen is lol. Mission is also really, really fun. Carousel of Prog was DELIGHTFUL. Only pavilion in Epcot you CANNOT miss is Canada.

    - Epcot has best fountain water.

    - TOT is extremely, way way way more amazing in WDW. Whole new scene.

    - You can view our WDW trip vids at youtube: myspacevlogsurveys :)

  • - Jungle Cruise in WDW is AWESOME. IASW, which I adore, is about as crisp as a rubbish bin. It's really quite atrocious looking.

    - 2nd best countertop food was Tomorrowland Buffet.

    - Dinosaur scared the f*** out of us. We are not babies. It's just like Indy, but it has its own kitsch appeal.

    - There's no such thing as a new Tiki Room. None. Forget about it. Doesn't exist. Move on.

    - PHILHARMAGIC IS STUPENDOUS. One thing I wish dland would transplact from WDW, and one of the few.

  • - TLM show isn't a necessity, although I love her (it's a pretty crappy show). Do NOT miss TLK. Nemo is 'alright'. We never saw BATB, as it was a sweltering 114F :(

    - Our best meal in the parks was in the McD's in Pleasure Island. DON'T MISS walking around! It's gorgeous at night and has the biggest Disney store! You'll get lost!

    - Rockin' Rollercoaster and Everest will ROCK. YOUR. WORLD.

    - Ride Big Thunder at night to see if you can ride it during a thunderstorm. NOTHING like it :)

  • - DO watch the Norway film. Why? Because you'll shit your pants the first time. Then promptly skip the film every time after.

    - Save cooler days for Animal Kingdom, because there's pretty much no A/C anywhere, and you're going to be a hot mess and decide to skip out on a couple of the musical shows in that park because of it (trust. me.)

    - The countertop food sucks. It's all the same in EVERY. PARK. Despite them being far enough away to warrant diff foods. Be aware.

    (Cont..)

  • Let me see...based on my last trip two years ago:

    * If you're staying in a Value Resort, expect to be surrounded by tourist groups from foreign countries.

    * Do Epcot in two days for each 'land'.

    * Skip the Norway Film

    * Avoid coffee (the humid environment makes such consumption near-impossible.

    * Avoid HISTA, the Studio Tour, and Stitch.

    * It is possible to get a FP for Splash that isn't for 8 pm or later

    * Do not give in to DVC

    * Do try Cirque De Soloil

    (cont...)

  • (...cont)

    * DO make dining reservations if you really want to eat anything other than counter-service.

    * Railroad lacks a Diorama, but plays music.

    * watch?v=e63N7dVb5wQ <-- Follow this.

    * Do see the circlevision films (especially Canada)

    * The Central Hub isn't the best place to view fireworks (as Cindy's Castle blocks them)

    * Expect 30+ minute waits for buses, including two buses for the same destination arriving at once, while your desired bus won't arrive for another hour.

    * Bloody txt limit

  • One more thing: Despite what Netcot says, Finding Nemo musical is indeed worth seeing.

  • @MikeFolf Captain EO will be at Epcot starting July 1.

  • @FastMondayNews Oh, that early? In that case, do watch EO. :p

  • Why don't you compare the Matterhorn Mountain to the the Expedition Everest in Disney World?

  • DON'T ride Mission:Space if you're claustrophobic (or just ate).

Best 3D show: tie between Mickey's Philharmagic and Muppet-Vision. (though Honey I Shrunk the Audience and It's Tough to be a Bug are still good)

Bring sunscreen too, cuz like everyone else said, it's HOT down there.

If you're going to see Disney Quest in Downtown Disney, let us know what you thought (I haven't been there since I was eight)

Also, are you staying at one of the hotels? If so which one?

  • i just watching vids about deaths in disneyland, why dont you do something on that for disneyworld and disneyland

ps this kingdom comedy is the shit

  • It's ok to skip Journey Into Imagination at Epcot, it was awesome in the 80's and 90's but when they renovated it and added Eric Idle it just SUCKS now. Living Seas with Nemo is fun and so is Ellen's Energy Adventure.

Even though they don't do any actual animation anymore at Disney Animation at Hollywood Studios I say you should still check it out. It's interesting and enjoyable, and gives me hope for the future of Disney Animation.

  • If you're eating at Animal Kingdom, don't miss the breakfast at Tusker House (it used to be "Donald's Restaurantsaurus" at Dino Land USA but they changed it).

Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT, miss Dinosaur (the ride).

ALWAYS have some water on you. If you're getting one of those $20 "Squeeze Breeze" things, make sure you get batteries too cuz those things eat them up like crazy.

Feel free to make comparisons between WDW's & DL's versions of rides such as Pirates or HM. That would make a great video.

  • The best places to eat at Hollywood Studios are the 50's Prime Time (it's like having an old-fashioned dinner in a kitchen from the 50's complete with black&white TVs playing I Love Lucy and the original Mickey Mouse Club and waiters that act like your crazy family members) and the Sci-Fi Drive-In (you sit in a car at an old drive-in that shows clips from B-monster movies)

  • If Mickey's Toontown Fair hasn't been demolished yet to make way for the new Fantasyland expansion, check it out. Just a cute place to relax for a few minutes, and Mickey's house is there!

If you wanted to see what the Country Bear Jamboree was like before it was replaced with Winnie the Pooh in DL, you can see it here, but it's nothing special. And Tom Sawyer Island is kinda fun.

Make breakfast reservations at the Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom & dinner at either Italy or Mexico in Epcot

  • Definately do not miss any of the shows in animal kingdom. nemo and the festival of the lion king are amazing!

  • lol i work in wdw

  • Why are you going there when i am not working there anymore?!?!? Jerk. But really, i'll make a video for you, and leave it for you here as a reply. just give me a few days and i'll whip up somethin' for ya.

But my main advice: Summer+Florida+sun=humidity; humidity+you-water=death (literally). Go. Slow.

  • Holy crap, I'm going to WDW soon too! I'm leaving this Wednesday, when are you going?

Anyway, as soon you get to Hollywood Studios, run to Toy Story Mania and fastpass it!! Seriously, if you wait even a few minutes you'll go and find the fastpass already set for 6:00 at night!

Check the fireworks schedule before you go, because some of the best shows like Fantasmic are only one or two nights a week.

Best spots for Magic Kingdom fireworks are the train station and the entrance of Tomorrowland!

  • Humidity Sucks! remember this

  • Dude!!! Have fun!!! I've never been to DW either!!! I'm just like you and only know Disneyland like the back of my hand.

Personally I would like to see their version of Disneyland rides, like Pirates, Haunted Mansion, ect.

    Have loads of Fun!!!

  • I know WDW like you know Disneyland. I'm a pro haha.

  • be sure to experience the new space mountain! oh and make sure to go on the TTA (Tomorrowland Transit Authority), it will bring back memories of the people mover!

  • No need to see Fantasia at WDW and Pirates only if you wanna see how much better it is at Cali, Splash is better there tho... Take your time in Animal Kingdom and let the atmosphere take you in but don't stay past 4... See Cirque De Soleil: La Nouba the night that you go to Animal Kingdom... Water parks aren't worth it for a first time visit

  • Awesomesauce dude, feel free to ask me some questions and I will/should get back to you immediatly and I would suggest going on the Tower of Terror, also Fantasmic(No Murphy) which is substantialy longer(4 minutes more?)

  • First off, don't rent a car. Take buses to the parks and resorts. It will save you money. And Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios have alot to do for one day. While Epcot and Animal Kingdom are half-day parks. And don't plan everything out last minute. Plan everything out before you get to Disney World.

  • 3rd comment!!

  • You should do something with Expedition Everest.....oooooor.... I have no idea.

  • Don't rely on the Disney Transportation, you're better off renting a car and paying extra for parking. It saves a ton of time.

You'll spend at least one day per park, except for Animal Kingdom. I'd say go from AK to Epcot that evening.
