I didn't understand this movie. There were twists and turns thrown in there for what seemed to me to be no good reason and by the end I was left wondering what the hell happened.
I think it was trying to do a Memento or Sixth Sense kind of thing with alternate versions of reality, but it was just disorienting.
Rickman was great in it though, of course. Steenburgen too. I love her.
