i arrived in oahu in 2000 stayed in f-quad across from the medical area for 1 month, then we moved to d quad i think. we tried to renovate f quad but the asbestos was too bad. we had alot of good times in those quads! ill miss them dearly. former A-co. 2-5 3rd brigade! bobcats own the night!

I was in B quad in the 70's, I think it is on the national register. The Japenese machined gunned it during the 41 attack. Hope it was not demolished.

Wow I would walk by their a lot back between 91-94.....

What a bummer.. was with 1-27 from 93-98 and it sucks to see the quads go... so much history to so many...

I was in F quad, 98-01. Barracks were condemned because of Absestos.

what are the new buildings? are they like the ones from K quad?

Not sure but I guess they would keep the same thing. We shall see when it is completed and I take another video. Aloha.

These quads, or one should be preserved for historical value. Served at Scholfield with 76th Engr Company prior to return of division from Nam, 71. Completed Scholfield tour with 65th Engr Battalion, '73. Married a Hilo girl '74.

Hey Villarte~ will do. I plan to go back this coming week to get the HQ building that you see in the background which is the next one on the list to get demolished. Running to the mess hall....just like BT.....brings back good memories. You must have been in the old WWII Barracks at Ft. Sill huh?

Yep, it's gone. That was the very building that I stayed in when I arrived in July of 1986. We were so new, just coming out of basic, that we would run to the mess hall when dismissed from formation because we thought we were supposed to, just like basic. Please though, try to get as much of the demoliton as possible. The next section of the building that is coming down is where we eventually moved to a year or so later.
