  • Yeah... He kinda came off as not the best interviewer... There were a few good points, but I didn't get to hear as much explanation from the author as I'd liked.

  • I'm wondering if Thom realizes there was ever a time when people weren't fascinated by the lives of their leaders. This has been the case throughout history. Most people know the name Julius Caesar. However, more know about the afair with Cleopatera than any of his military campaigns or his political decrees as dictator. It's always been a part of human nature to want to know this stuff about leaders. It's not modern at all.

  • what?

  • It is true that tabloid liter=ature is prevalent in Britain, especially since a major rag was purchased by Rupert Murdock the king of trash journalism.

  • this guy asking the questions acts a bit like a turd

  • WilliamExists. A floater or a sinker? Thom is an intellectual, do you expect him act like Joe the Plumber?

  • No but I didn't think he would badger people on his show for apparently no good reason. He just comes off as a dick.

  • Asking questions with content is rare in the media world. R U sure that U R interpreting this right? I mean Thom does not talk within republican talking points that R fed to the Reich wing. I see Thom being polite yet constructive in his criticism. Trashy books like this R based on hearsay not facts and thus deserve criticism.
