could be better if the vocalist just followed the way Syd sang it , the vocalist got a fair nice voice , but he's singing in his own way a song that was actually made perfectly in the way it should be .

anyway , it's great to see Syd's songs remembered :) .

@Vitoo1988 Thanks. my intention here was to re-write it in order to make it appear like classical music. when you arrange a song there are many ways to do the thing and to approach it. one of them, of course, is, as you say, let it in the original version for the most part.

at least somebody had a go at it, i just think syds songs should be sung without too much poise or restraint as that's not really in the spirit they were written

what does your 'should' mean? I don't think it's necessary to maintain the same original 'spirit' of a song when you're arranging it in a new fashion. anyway, how can you think you KNOW what was the spirit in which this song was written? barrett, for all I know, loved classical music.
