i pooped in my mom when she was pushing me out. . . she ended up staying at the hospital for 5 extra days. my grandparents took me out and showed me off (i still think my mom is upset about that lol) i wasn't hurt cause my head was already out when i did the deed but yeah i understand your worry about the baby pooping in you . . . i watched a National Geographic video last night and the baby got his poop stuck in his pipes and couldn't breathe :(

@meperz My daughter did that as well and on her way out she inhaled some of the merconium and almost died. They whisked her away to the warming table and worked on her. She did survive but had a few days where they had to keep an eye on her. She is a sweet 12 yr old girl now and am very grateful to the hospital staff for saving her life.

@QUATR00 youtube isn't just about senseless entertainment videos that do nothing to stimulate your braincells, it's about education as well (as though as that is to believe). People have the RIGHTS to post what they wish (as long as it does not break the rules and laws set by Youtube). For you; you might not see the point to a video such as this; and that is perfectly okay. But to someone else this video could be used in an educational way in some form. @bananenfoon It's usually quite a while before you then go into "actual labour" after your waters break so she may as well have lol. I might do it myself one day if I am ever brave enough (and financially capable) to decide to have children.

@TowardsThePantheon She was born 12 hours later. It was a long labor but not too bad. The contractions started around 4 am that morning. It was pretty intense for a while. And thank you :)

you were super calm! congrats i might be on my second Pregnancey i rescently had twins 3 months ago but apprently u can get pregnant 4-6 weeks after you give birth depending if u start your period again i did not know that till monday now im just kinda freaking out

but yeah you do really well and you were alone the whole time my boyfriend was the only one with me at the time and he froze for like 20 mins before he started freaking out

You sound like a great candidate for a midwife attended birth, perhaps a freestanding birth center. My 3rd was born this way. Not in a hospital. Amazing! :) But you must check it out for yourself, don't take my word for it.

Props for being able to speak through contractions.  When my best friend had her daughter. I some how managed to get to her house from work within 15 minutes and normally it's a 30 minute drive lol

So are you saying if you are in the hospital the baby won't have a bowel movement? Babies detect stress, so being relaxed is the best thing to do in labor, that's why you need to be prepared.
