  • BBQ is best when it's freezing cold,

  • My Wife Likes to keep the heat indoors in the winter. But Since it's tax season as well as winter, (She works for one of those chain tax prep company's) and she's at work filling out W-2's. I get to sneak out back and fire up the Grill for a treat.

  • man 2:11 is a thing of beauty, steamin hot beef with snow fallin on it!!! i would give you guys a thumbs up but yall got those takin care of!!!

  • This video inspired me to grill up some porterhouses i got dinner.

  • I bet a lot of people were probably thinking it, all it takes is for someone to say it, fire up those grills all year! An indoor oven just can't compete with BBQ when it comes to flavor. So if you're missing that BBQ taste in January, you know what to do!

  • Amen - I always wondered why people BBQ all summer in the frikin heat and then when it gets cold they don't want to cook over a FIRE that gives their food great flavor and keeps them warm.

  • YOU GUY'S ROCK!!!

  • Damn right! Boys cook over gas, men cook over charcoal, but bad muthas fire up that grill 24/7/365!

  • the BBQer with the sunglasses on at night and machette makes vide awesome.

  • New name for your steaks. Snow Steaks!

  • nice vid and im hungry too

  • snow helps keep the maet moist

  • Wow this is hardcore!

  • I can never get flames anywhere near that size, what am I doing wrong?

  • @ex0ja more coles and the grease from the steaks makes the high flames. Steaks are cooked over direct heat. You can add water soaked wood chips to get a little smoke flavor too.

    Hope this helps ya bro.

  • lool... nice

  • LOL Nice1.

  • I've been caught grilling in -35 degrees. It's an obsession that I can't leave to just summer time. People think I'm crazy, but when they try my food, they can't deny that it was worth it. Glad to see I'm not they only one who does it all year long.

  • @rinos88 Amen! In the winter I switch to hardwood, as it burns hotter and a little longer. I love making a bad ass brisket or some serious ribs when it is snowing. Cook on my brother.... Cook on

  • Sweet! I'm going to try the hardwood. I keep having to reload my smoker box with charcoal when it is cold out. I have a strange water smoking technique and I have to be careful not to knock the can over when reloading.

  • It sounds like you just did. U mad? lol.

  • You listen to Eminem, LOL. Go back to where you came from, you are not wanted here. Besides, it seems to me that you just watched it. Just saying.

  • Why do you care so much?

  • @nekro76 I think you're the ingnorant one my friend!

  • Gotta love me some steak!

  • i bbq all year long could never understand why more people don't

  • @legalizeit79 i too bbq all year i love to stand in front of the flame 20 or 30 outside

and i feel that the lower temps make smoke hang better. also it is awsome to bbq a fresh hunt. bbg any day all day everyday. now im hungry

  • mmmm that sounds happy when its cooking. BAM

  • them good ole country buyzs!!

  • they probably think their so ba

  • just like cooking over a can in chgo.

  • last year on new years i remember bbq-ing in the sleet n snow

  • i live in Alaska and i grill year round.. nothin like a hot steak and hot-tub with a beer

  • The Blues Brothers of BBQ

  • I like indirect heat with the cover on it myself.

  • i love the taste of satisfaction you get from walking threw a foot of snow to grill a few steaks

  • Comment removed

  • I use to BBQ when stationed in Alaska when it was -30 cause if you dont you never will most of the year there. ;-)

  • Merry Christmas Boys!

Ice storm in Omaha tonight, but I was out there grilling a rib eye.

The utensils were covered in ice and never thawed out, but the steak was perfect!

    Joe

  • bloodtar...why so jaded, man? the corrupt government and all the bullcorn they put us thru has nothing to do with steak lol...i agree with your views about the new world order, however.

  • when is the next show coming?

  • thats hardcore

  • brbq beer and blues. nuf said.

  • it never snows like that here in california

  • I know, but if it did it'd probably be acid snowflakes. Hah!

  • Looks like we are in for our first snow fall of the year this weekend.

As everyone knows, there are four distinct BBQ Seasons.

    Fall

    Winter

    Spring &

    Summer!

    Keep Those Grills Fire Up!

  • man! that smells GOOOOODD!!!

  • Forgot to mention this part. As I was headed home, I happen to see a lady at her charcoal grill cooking steaks... at 19 degrees! And I have a sister-in-law and brother who regularly grill in cold North Idaho. Wish I had a patio at my apartment, otherwise I would be doing the same!

  • man, this is making me hungry

  • Awesome guys!!

    No wimpin out here!

  • Oufuckin'jea........

  • that's right! Barbecueing is like taking a piss, you just have do it regurarly nomatter the conditions. Grill on!

  • so true. Last year it was -25 cel out side and the steak was on. Everyone thought I was nuts because I had to dig out the bbq after the snow we just had. Oh well. it was the first one of the year 2009.

  • How cold is 11 degree, is it in celcius?, here in my country the lowest temperature we could get is 25 degree celcius, it's about 75 F degree. I could never imagine that, must feel like inside the refrigerator

  • American Ferinheit

  • Actually 11* would be more like standing in your freezer.

I've been taking my daughter to school every day on my Electric WheelChair in 15* weather.

Brrrrrrrrr, but fun to cook in!

Plus the added bonus of you don't have to worry about your beer getting warm...hahahaha

  • Never wimp out in Winter. In fact whe I'm out there in January my neighbors call my cell to tell me it isn't June.

  • Best videos on the interwebs. Please get some women's t-shirts on your website. I was gonna buy one for my wife for xmas but...

  • One would think that the cold temps would mess up the meat... but learning how to grill in the cold.... or even extreme cold...... is also a survival skill well-worth having.

  • Very good point.

  • Winter is my fav time to stand at the grill. BUT all you guys did was cut off the horns and wipe the hefer's ass. You've got to cook them steaks fellas! Medium well. D-Licious! :) To each his own though :)

  • I didn't know anybody quit when it was cold. Its my favorite time of year to fire up the old smoker and grill.

  • It's never to cold to fire up the grill! + there ain't nothing like a good old snow-BBQ after a day of winter fun :-)

  • That's awesome!!

  • Fuck yeah! Up here in Woodbridge Ontario Canada, we had a tornado; while everybody was walking the streets at night looking at all the damage done, me and my friend were grilling up some ribeyes!! Two days ago in 30deg.F. weather, we did some striploins!!

  • NICE, I'm up in Maple and I was doing the same. I had some T-bone firing up on the BBQ while the power was out.

It was awesome because it was nice out during the Tornado.

  • Hell Yeah!, u can BBQ(grill) in any weather, as long it isnt too windy that is...mmmmmmm BBQ(grillin)

  • WOW! the pit boys with direct heat.

  • I love America

  • The Unstoppable Masters! 5*'s

  • Suddenly, a voice booms from heaven, and it saith:

"Do you smell that? It smells GUUUD!"

Great to see the Pit Boys hard at work even in winter.

  • You guys rock. BBQing in the cold. At least y'all can stay warm.

  • your looking at real America folks!

Shoot! just because it's cold and snowing, don't mean you can't have the zesty-sweet taste of a open pit/grill Bar-B-Q!!!

This inspired me, I'm gonna wipe out the grill and do some "Winter philly-steak sandwiches", let the conservatives watch from their warm/safe bedroom windows at me... I got my "Bar-B-Que Shoes" on! Thanks Pit-Boyz!

  • I hear ya. I always wondered why people waited to the summer or certain holidays. My mom would pull the grill out of the garage any day of the week. We would place the grill in the area that was best for the weather. Even if the rain caught us. It was always so much fun. :-D You guys are awesome!

  • Merry Christmas to the BBQ Pit Boys!!!

  • Any soup recipe vid?

  • stew!

  • lol awesome and you have a snow sauce too

  • Homer Alaska here. Grilled 2 steaks just last night out in the crisp winter air. No snow falling but the ground is nicely covered.

  • Awesome!! I just BBQ'ed in the snow because of this vid!

  • it's not the dark or cold that puts me off firing up the grill, it's the constant rain we've had for about four or five weeks now. and we were already planning on grilling the turkey for xmas dinner. soon as it doesn't rain on my days off we're having barbeque. and hubby wants snow for xmas cause he says he'll fire it up for first snowfall.

  • that rain or snow is an effect right? lol

  • Where are you guys from?

  • ha ha!

  • It smells GUUUD!

  • Dude, I fired up my grill today while being f***ing -4 out! It's awsome!

  • You guys make amazing food. You ever considered making a show for the food network?

  • my only difficulty bbq-ing in winter is keeping the kettle hot...i use charcoal not chunk wood.not sure if that's the reason the fire is so cool.but the rewards for bbq in cold weather go beyond good food.really lifts the spirits when the days are short and cold, reminding you of summer days!

  • you guys are my heroes

  • Great vid.. as always.. I am a truck driver and one of your fans. I have traveled all over TEXAS and still aint found ya'll.. I thought ya'll might be up in the pan handle, but with the snow, Maybe Dallas area?? That is the only place I can think of that might have had snow recently..
