I think the first-person view is for when you just wanna have fun, but the third-person view is if you want a regular race or a competitive one. I like the new feature and I use it a lot when I'm playing by myself.

@disneylandguy10 when doing first person view, you can move with the circle pad still, but can also tilt the 3DS itself to turn. You still need to press A to accelerate and L+R to drift, though.

This stage reminds me of Dry Bones, after all it was his stage on the DS. Dang i wished he could of made it on Mario Kart 7 (They should of left it Mario Kart 3DS) hopefully he is a DLC along with others.

The last Mario Kart game I played was Mario Kart 64. I never really like drifting, but it looks like I'll have to get used to that now. I actually love that first person view. It adds more challenge to the game.

first person looks cool, but if you are playing to win and want to use your items more efficiently then 3rd person is probably better, but itd make it more challenging probably
