I think the reason we are dumping Vickers is probably because he wants a bigger contract then we are willing to pay. The WCO is all about the passing game so hes playing a position of importance, but it isnt THAT important where we hand him a big contract, if this was manginis team still with the run first philosophy then I could understand a big contract for vickers. Owen is a great fullback and brings more of a passing threat with him compared to vickers (for less money). jus how I see it
@ClevelandOrangeDawgs Yeah but when you look at shurmurs offense last year, the fullback only had like 4 catches. I doubt we will really use the full back in the passing game that much. If we want to see another 1000 yd + season from Hillis again I would keep Vickers. Guy has plowed for Jamal Lewis, Hillis, and Jerome Harrison.
yeah i gave it a b+ i thought the defense has been upgraded! i think colt mccoy needed weapons surrounding him little could be best wide out we have. i think jordan cameron has physical attributes and great hands to set up two tight end systems in the west coast offense. as for own marecic (full back) maybe they use him as a full back to relieve vickers and special teams. don't know i would like to know more about eric hagg seems solid for a strong safety. i like jason pinkston too. good pic
@JulieB67 I still just can't agree with getting rid of Vickers. He has plowed ahead for 3 thousand yard rushers. Jamal Lewis, hillis, and Jerome Harrison. This only makes since if were planning on just completely going away from the run game.
Think you will turn around on Jordan Cameron man. went to school with him, his athleticism is ridiculous he just needs to get some more reps. Right on with the grade-definitely a B type of draft. and Have you seen the Jordan Cameron video with Blake Griffin yet?
@DMONEY821 Yeah everyone keeps saying he has supperior athleticism and everything like that. My opinion will probably change once the pre season starts and all. I"m gonna have to check out the blake griffin vid
