@SNESIvan Fatal Fury was released a year before Mortal Kombat, so their Raiden came first. The name "Raiden" can't be copyrighted anyway, since it's the name of an actual Japanese god. (Aside from the fact that names alone can't be copyrighted, only trademarked)

Actually it says that when you start the game up. And if you pick mode B the screen becomes glitchy.

That should be if you got a glitchy screen in mode A in a real famicom/clone/nes, you should choose mode B instead.
