@kikiCar88 Audi bought noting. Its vw. stop arguing. I had audi and vw before, now i have bmw. they all are nice cars, bmw is my fav, but its newer. audi and vw has bad engineering in some blocks. Like putting comfort block under drivers legs (lol) in winter you get all snow inside and electronics go crazy. All of them has some advantages and minuses. Get over them, lets together fight small jap cars :)

I dunno maybe the A8 is a great car but my 98' E38 is like driving around on liquid sex, handles corners just as well as that guy said down there.. actually i remember test driving an A4 and that handling was betting than the 6series i tested the same day so i can see Audi's handling to feel smoother but I don't ever see myself driving in anything but a 7 or M for the rest of my life. I bought one very cheap, not quite getting the Quattro thing, but when it was raining - all became clear. Mash the throttle and it goes - no drama, just acceleration.

The W12 is a nightmare engine. Avoid at all costs. Nice tune-up price too - 12 cylinders? No thanks...

it doesn't matter, i have driven a A8 a few times (long trips) and i don't like straight roads and do not drag race (for idiots only).

the A8 takes corners brutally (even with 1750kg empty weight, like a rally car) and that's winning.

you can go flatout in a corner and you can literally feel the wheels search for grip.

it helps alot when the front wheels also have power and help you aim for entry and exit points of corners.

But consider that the audi has 2 timing belts that need be changed every now and then(very expensive) and the aluminium is impossible to work on so needs to be substituted if broken(very very expensive) and it is less fuel efficent than the bmw even though the bmw has a v12. Besides that some 750s have the full leather interior which includes the dashbord, at least in the e38 model

the w12 A8 will be out of reach 4 sure, but i did see offer on the pheaton w12 & v10 tdi, which is not very expensive with about 33.000 / 35.000€

i have the mechanical documents for the A8 and pretty much all other audi aswel and some vw models.

VAG personal only documents.

the A8 specs are impressing, the amount of technology in that car.

2 fuel pumps. the complexy of the body and glass work.

i can fix em myself, that's a great help and reduces the ownership costs.

i had acces to the keys of a A8 and did threat it like a rally car, the same as the owner did.

a 4 x 4 sedan is the best you can buy,sure you loose some power due to 2 additional differentials, but you can take corners faster and SAFE and there are alot of corners in europe.

the A8 has a 100% alumnium chassis and body and you can substitute every part.

it's pretty much a lambourgini for the poor people.

and YES, i like the 750 very much, it was THE car i wanted to buy after i got my license.

but the audi has a much nicer dashboard witch goes around you and the passenger, it's simply awesome.

the 750 i went to look to buy had plastic dashboards, like found in the E30 and E34.

i also went to look for e30 m3 and e30 323i, mercedes 190 2.3-16v.

and eventually i ended up with a e30 320i, very good car in that time. with is 17 years ago now.

nw you can buy ....ix versions from bmw. no 4x4=no sale

I love both cars considerably. They both have their pros and cons, but you definitely have to respect a 4.2 V8 creaming a 5.4 V12. I mean, come on. I love all Deutsch cars, but BMW comes in 3rd then Audi 2nd and Mercedes 1st. I almost love Audi as much as Mercedes. And that's saying something!

theres a few options for example: - audi had half-automatic gearbox but bmw hasn't (if this bmw were produced before 1996 - probably don't have steptronic.. -Audi driver was a pro but bmw driver wasn't.
