its not the taste, its the idea of eating parts that we are unfamiliar with and the texture, and unfortunately this is what happened to american food culture in the 20th century which is a shame. and its not a "white thing" either, because eating the organs and other 'non desirable' parts of animals is quite common in european cuisines as well as non-european. its a shame really because a lot of good food is being put to waste because of our squeamish attitudes towards food

@josegotwood theres mostly no crime at all,the only reason theres a lot of crime in noethern MEX is because its close to the border,and like all border cities it tends to be more viloent,but Oaxaca is a peacefull place,especially if you are visiting a local village
