  • this is the best ever so ahead of its time and pathed way for bands like sonic youth

  • questa roba mi ha stappato il cerume dalle orecchie

  • Thats the shit!

    Thats the shit!

  • The sonic equivalent of 'Dave's Insanity Sauce'. Always chuckle when I hear the story of their sound engineer sometime into the (one-take recording) saying 'I don't have to listen to this shit. Let me know when you're done.'

  • This song is way too short.

  • Sounds like a love triangle between two buzzsaws and an amplifer. I Fucking love it.

  • could hit it siiiiide waaaaaaayssss

  • This is the kind of song that makes you want to drop a nuke after listening to.

  • WHIP IT ON ME JIM

    WHIP IT ON ME JIM

    WHIP IT ON ME JIM

  • 17 minute mind fuck.

  • this song makes me want to drink 25 coors lights and throw furniture

  • @misskt32

I'm pretty sure I'd want to throw furniture if Coors Light was the best beer I could find:-)

Try a pint of Boddingtons or three & enjoy this magic choooooooon!!!

  • This song makes my butt tingle

  • Best jam session of all time

  • 5:30 to 7:25 is a real orgasm.

  • best song ever in rock history

la mejor cancion de la historia del rock

  • Just astonishing playing from every participant. "Sister Ray" has set a benchmark for over 40 years now. Like Jimi's "Voodoo Chile (Slight Return)" or the Beatles "Day In The Life", it's actual proof of how much was achieved in 1967-68.

  • Go Moe!!!

  • This 17 minute song goes so fast. One of my favs from the VU.

  • Mo Tucker is a beast for pounding away like this for 17+ minutes.

  • more i listen 2 the velvets more i think there better than floyd

  • don't mistake man, they are better than floyd, only the two first velvet's albums are top masterpieces of all time, pink floyd only have one masterpiece: the piper at the gates of dawn

dark side of the moon is NOT a masterpiece, only a good album

  • The Piper at the Gates of Dawn is an amazing album, though I do love Dark Side. But, Piper is my favorite. I'm one of those hopeless Barrett fans that wonder what PF would've been like with him in later years, so that's why I like it.

The Velvet Underground, on the other hand, don't deserve the lack of attention they've received since 1965. For such a wonderful and influential band, they have so little listeners. This song is proof of how great they are, as are their first three albums.

  • @progreadicto Pink Floyd are better than The Velvet Underground. TPATGOD is not a masterpiece. Pink Floyd's masterpieces are: Atom Heart Mother, Meddle, The Dark Side Of The Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, and The Wall. The first VU album is a masterpiece. The second was very good, but not quite a masterpiece.

  • @metal4lifeddie TPATGOD is THE PinkFloyd masterpiece. But VU are better.

  • @dannycefc No, I like Pink Floyd better.

  • whip it on me jim

  • This is the elevator music in Hell. (Slayer plays in the lobby.) :-D "Of course I'm going to Hell; all my friends are there!"

  • "In Heaven all the interesting people are missing" - Freud

  • Masters of psychodelic sounds - Velvet and Floyds!

  • speed music good whatever though

  • I don't really think that Lou Reed would like to hear that someone said his music was psychedelic. That's pretty much the opposite of what they were trying to create. They hated psychedelic hippie culture and it's movement, that's why they wore all black instead of bright colors and made abrasive sounds that might be interpreted as bad vibe music by the hippies.

  • I remember the first time i listened to this song, i was fucking blown away. It's a wave of intense energy jamming against you, while progressing like a pissed of steam engine.

  • Velvet underground r amazing

  • FUCKIN BELTING ,if you don't like this you can suck on my ding dong :) timeless

  • <3 this song. First VU song I've heard -- amazing stuff.

  • I was sitting around a bonfire with some friends a few years ago and one of the guys put on this record. Shortly after, he and everyone but one other guy, a close friend of mine, disappeared for awhile. So me and my friend are talking with this song on in the background. At one point, when the noise in the track was getting intense, I started to laugh and refer to the music and right then my friend said "I'm turning this off! I hate the Velvet Underground. It sounds like ass jamming!" I disagree

  • bang bang

  • i guess not a lot of folks reach part two.... hahaha... we must be special [in a bad way]

  • in a good way

  • thats bullshit that this only has 151 views, the velvet underground are amazing.

  • @cafeCoece

As of even date, it has 1,095

(possibly 1,096, after I click out)

    : but you're right; it's as though --

    "Parthenon -- 1,000 views".
