I've seen the Foo Fighters, I've seen the Red Hot Chili Peppers, I've seen Stevie Wonder, I've seen The Who and I've seen Led Zeppelin at sell out enormous arenas, but NONE of them beat Jet in a tiny little Civic Hall where about 3,500 people went absolutely mental to this song. Other than AC/DC these guys are the best crowd pleasers I have ever seen.

Guys, who cares about the drummer's timing in this performance? It's at a massive festival and the crowd is having too much of a fantastic time to care or notice it! Knowing Chris, he's probably a bit drunk, and also, i have seen a lot of live Jet videos and he is always on top of his game at drumming. This is just a one off occasion where he wants to speed things up a bit more. Jet is one of the best bands out there bringing back classic rock, and you all know it.

well he doesnt seem able to keep the same tempo between the intro and the rest of the song,listen carefully 0:04 - 0:20 and also all the other passages during the song...that's really bad playing and also confuses the other musicians..they are incredible cuz they keep playing but is really annoying and uncomfortable for them...as musician i can recognize this,i couldnt play with a drummer like him he would piss me off

Pop music ir different: the musical structure of a pop song is not the same that rock or heavy music. The voice is different and JET's voice is not a pop voice. The solos are not common in a pop song. Pop music is slower than rock and heavy in the 90% of the songs.

You can't compare the sound of the killers with the arctic monkeys sound o JET's song, and I think mando diao's base is a rock riffs.

Bands like arctic monkeys or mando diao probably have their influences in britpop but they're not a copy (where can you find the same sound comparing Supersonic and Fake tales of SF?).

The influences are one thing different than the sound of the band.

Steve Harris' influences were Black Sabbath, Rush, etc. and Iron Maiden's sound is different than these bands.
