The heel part was there but I was playing this bare footed on a carpeted floor so it was a bit pointless doing it, if you watch really closely you can just make it out. But yes it should be there and it should be bigger than a muffled tap. The YT video was just a bit of fun.

I would play it a little slower and really try and capture the swagger and attitude that goes with the blues. Its harder for classical musicians. but it gets you loads of marks in the exam. I didn't know the piece terribly well and I got 26/30 mainly because of stylization.

I didn't choose the tempo or the stylization for marks in the exam. I played it as I felt it. The examiner must have thought that it had just the right amount of swagger as I got 30/30 for it.

Try to feel it rather than just read it.

it goes faster after the start, but the piece was supposed to be unhurried throughout the whole time...you should only work on your speed and it will be good.
