That is incorrect. One, there were diesel generators fueling the fires as well. There is also the point that you dont need jet or diesel fuel at all. Regular house fires can reach temperatures hot enough to cause steel to lose half of its integrity in a little over three minutes. Not to mention that the floor trusses in Building Seven were just as long as the ones in the twin towers and just as susceptible.

Even NIST decided that: (a) the diesel generators were not responsible; (b) the temperature reached by the steel elements (any of them) inside WTC7, which had only local, relatively small fires, was not sufficient even to weaken the steel to the point of collapse, and was FAR too low to melt it (molten metal was found under WTC7, though!), and (c) they themselves could not be sure what made WTC7 collapse and would have to do further research.

This information probably exists somewhere... but my guess about the sprinkler system at WTC7 is that huge water mains that supplied the Twin Towers were all broken, that water pressure plummeted because of broken mains... and perhaps water supply to the immediate WTC area was shut off because of the breakage and to maintain water service to unaffected areas. I don't know the extent of the structural damage and fires at WTC7. If fireproofing on steel was compromised, steel would fail.

If you look closely and watch it a few times, you will see that the building started to fall after the "bombing" took place. If you watch it a few times and know a thing of two about building construction, you will see that the bombs on the side of that tower destroyed the metal support beams that held the building up in the first place. So, if you destroy the support then the building will eventually fall on top of itself. If it dosent fall however then the simplist of crash would make it fall.

What the "truthers" also ignore is that WTC7 sustained damage when pieces of the tower fell on it towards the south end. 20 STORIES WAS SHEARED OFF AT THE SOUTH END. Fire wasn't the main reason why it fell, but it did help a bit. There are pictures available on google and you can clearly see the gash near the base of WTC 7.

I just got a look at the secret WTC7 blueprints last week in CA. There is a nondescript facility near the "blue box" in Sunnyvale on Persian Ave. that makes "quick release" mechanisms for high security buildings like WTC7. Imagine a human knee. Now imagine "clipping" in football. That's how it works, so the building falls all at once. This is a safety feature to keep people from being stranded in a partially destroyed building with classified information dangling about for all to see.

The building fell almost intact, except for the penthouses, meaning the support structures were destroyed at the BOTTOM, not the top. The important fact: the east and west ends of the main roof dropped within a half second of each other, according to NIST. Pretty good timing for a CD, unbelievable for fire and debris damage.
