that square lighthouse must take more pressure from the the sea than the circular ones but it certainly stood up to that storm where i live in deal in the uk i can see the north foreland lighthouse its nice and comforting to see its beam doing its work

The ocean is as beautiful and she is dangerous! Fascinating video. I thank the brave ones who dared to film it. Incredibly, it sooths me to watch it. I guess it's nice to know that the oceans will never be tamed by man.

@Laurisa718 it can't be tamed but can be destroyed by oil spills or nuclear bomb testings in it. The water may not be destroyed but the life it has will.

@mrcodypettit You are correct, and it saddens me; however, before man can completely destroy the oceans & earth... I feel certain that humans will be annihilated. Such greedy people should be! Alas, I know that there will be innocents killed at the same time, but Earth will survive even tho it will have to go thru a healing process. Pity that some people can not understand our connection to this beautiful planet!

@ExpatMoe not sure in these cases but lighthouses usually warn ships that land is nearby, so u know, they would have just stoop on a cliff for some of the shots
