@ORIAM85 ok, almost all of it is easy to understand. Except: the brief flash with the "I've Done it" tattoo. That part drives me bats, and throws everything else into question. I've heard a lot of people explain it as a fantasy moment. But that doesn't ring true for me. You look at him there, and he just looks like a vegetable, completely zoned out from his wife. He doesn't look happy, and she looks sad.
@ORIAM85 Agreed. They are like that. With that said, my "grain" is something like the following: that picture strikes me as a representation of his deepest state. He is terribly disconnected from reality. Killing her with insulin (which I believe is what happened) is really too much to bear. Hence, his massive dissociation. Which reads on his face in that brief shot. And, though his wife may be dead, in some world, she (her spirit?) is sad -- terribly sad about where his mind has gone.
I would, but I kind of did it on purpose. I want to share my talent for combining film and music without the original parties gettin pissed off. I'm actually trying to help them get word out on the movie and music, but so far, a couple music companies don't see the benefits of these fan made music videos. So if it's distorted, it's less likely to be taken down.
Its not really. Basically the movie is about a man (Lenny) who has short-term memory loss and trying to find a man by the name John, that raped and killed his wife. You should watch the movie. Very interesting.
I've seen this film at leasst 12 times, and that's without exaggerating. I consider it a masterpiece. I wanted the person to explain why they felt so and so was a theme in Memento because I sure didn't see it as a theme..
I completely agree with you. I think it's an outstanding film and there really isn't a film quite like it. I know fractured narratives have been used before, but never have they been so effective.
OOhh Yeahh I rememberz that movie. It was bizzare alright but WoW what a trip. even the name, m e m e n t o let alone the music. My friends had to watch the movie 50 times and still couldn't figure it out, huh and they was millionares....
I watch it once, just once and got it figred out. He looks at amd says, so? what's going on here? and I say what, you DENTED or something... then mumble mumble mumble... What a movie! whew what a whack job he was!
Kay, I was thinking of watching Memento because of this song. But now...I am Deff. going to because of your comment. I really like effed up movies that you have to figure out.
Actually, I wanted it Conan-style so as to not take too much away from the film and give it a slightly different perspective. I put OCTANE normal though because I don't think many people have seen that movie. hahaha
the wife... is so cute...

@GoSolar Indeed, parts like that make our minds run in two directions. Interpretations are like grains of sand.

you need to reupload this in proper widescreen. it's a brilliant video but the aspect ratio crimes are killing me. it's squished!

"How can you love me if you don't love yourself" is one of the main themes to the movie, Memento. :)

Ahahaha okay that makes sense now. :]

Do you really think it's a theme of Memento? Explain because I don't see how.
