I half agree. Yes, if you love it, adapt it to a cut & colour which flatter your natural shape, however, you'll end up looking foolish. If you happen to love pencil skirts, but, have hips the size of...never mind(lol), no matter how much you love that PSs, it won't look good on you.

However, if you simply mean encorporating what you love into what looks best on you, I completely agree.:)

Before you can begin to channel your character into your style, you must take into account your natural body shape & proportions, skin colour, etc., as that will determine what cuts, colours, fabrics, etc., will look best on you. Then, one may go on to channel their personal taste levels & create their own personal sense of style. Fashion victims are people who follows "inspirations"(trends) w/out first understanding their own bodies' needs in that department.
